Lovely room, excellent location, very friendly staff.

Staff were very friendly, the hotel was in a good location - central in Montmarte, and everything was clean. Nice view from rooms, reception had water dispenser and options to buy other drinks and snacks. Everything you needed in the rooms and in the hotel.

Searching for accommodations in Paris can be stressful, especially during summer tourism season. I highly recommend you stop browsing the hundreds of options, and lock down your room Hôtel BASSS.

Nothing but exemplary things to say about our room and the friendly staff. We stayed three nights, but wish it could've been a month.

This was also a surprise engagement trip for my partner and I, and Hôtel BASSS went so far above & beyond in ensuring it was a special vacation. A beautiful bouquet of flowers, a bottle of champagne, delicious bon bons, and a tear-jerking custom note & sketch wishing us well. They also helped coordinate discreetly shipping a travel guitar to the hotel in advance for the proposal.

A special thank you to Niloufar for proving that hospitality is alive in 2026. She was a supportive concierge through months of planning and dozens of emails.

Strong coffee, a huge breakfast spread, lots of power outlets in the room, plenty of space to spread out. We were also lucky enough to have a front-facing juliet balcony, and the view of the bustling streets of Montmartre was mesmerizing. Sipping my espresso in the morning and watching shop keepers spray off sidewalks and crank out colorful awnings was an absolute treat.

The hotel is smack dab in one of the most thriving intersections in the neighborhood. Perfect for popping out for a quick bite or gelato. However, BASSS somehow manages to feel secluded, private, and peaceful, despite being steps away from a hotspot. It's also less than a 10 minute walk from countless landmarks: the cemetery, Moulin Rouge, Sacré-Cœur, Place du Tertre, Moulin de la Galette, La Maison Rose, Au Lapin Agile, and much more.

10/10, we will definitely be back!

This is a lovely little hotel. The staff were extremely helpful (especially so with my very limited knowledge of French). The location is great, with many restaurants and shop on the doorstep.

The room was small, but efficient, and the bed was comfortable. Don't expect space for more than one small (carry-on sized) bag.

I liked the open coffee bar in the lobby. They do have an arrangement with a car service to pick you up and bring you to the hotel and I paid for this service. Unfortunately, I screwed up and reserved the wrong time and they were not able to adjust this, so I paid for something I didn't get and had to Uber it!

Great value for money in a lovely area of Paris with the Sacre Coeur just up the hill, loads of lovely cafes and shops nearby, and a truly Parisian experience. Rooms were minimalist and clean but small, beds were comfy, staff was super-friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
