A value small hotel with good location.
Pros:

For the price, Akaya was a nice small hotel. The staff were friendly. The pool was clean and the location was great. A good amount of storage and good aircon. The location is excellent, so close to the beach and good restaurants.

Cons:

The bed was extremely unconformable. The hot water took a good 3 minutes. My room was tired with marks and stains. The breakfast was okay but very average compared to the actual cafe menu. I also got the room next to the staff/cleaners room. It was noisy and I had workers walking past my room constantly - so it did not feel private and had to keep my blinds closed at all times.

The room was stuffy and the aircon was noisy and had a bright light on the temperature number that made it hard to sleep .

Great location fantastic staff

Awesome stay!
Pros:

The room was very clean, shower had hot water with good pressure and the beds were comfy.
The bfast at the local cafe nearby was also pretty good and filling.
Loved the location nearby the beach walk and the pool was very clean.

Pros:

Akaya was a lovely hotel. Room was spotless and bed very comfortable.
It had a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were lovely and friendly, especially Opi. She was exceptional.

Pros:

Fabulous staff. Loved Opi and her team. The food at cafe was excellent and everything we needed was nearby - spas, restaurants, beach.

Cons:

No access to a pool lounge for two of our days.
