The rooms were lovely and clean. Beds were comfortable.

We stayed there last year when it was Comfort Inn and the upgrades and improvements you’ve made were a pleasant surprise, it’s very well done. Will stay there again without question!

De kamers waren netjes en schoon, het personeel liep volgens mijn op hun tenen, ze konden het maar net bij bene. Ik denk dat wanneer ze er personeel bij zouden hebben, alles netjes onder controlle is.

Hotel was zover als we zagen met 1 nacht prima in orde.

This place opened too soon. It was not ready for guests, especially the number of guests that were there when we stayed. Most of the signs were printed on paper and taped to doors, the rooms had no clocks or coffee-makers.

The hotel is located between TWO garage stations, so there isn't much local colour. If you're on the first floor and like a little privacy, keep your curtains closed because your room is basically in the parking lot. The rooms are brand-new so they were nice but a bit small.

Breakfast was a disaster. There was only one woman handling a buffet breakfast for at least 15 people and she was overwhelmed. She was a very sweet lady but she needed help. The toaster was a cheap, two slice model that barely toasted anything, so there was a line for toast! There was cereal, but no milk. The buffet was poorly set up so there was no flow. Paper plates and wooden utensils might be eco-friendly but make it hard to cut a sausage.

All that being said, the staff were lovely. Very pleasant and very helpful. It felt like they were being set up for failure because whoever owns this hotel hasn't given them the right tools to do their job. I hope that the management read this and realize that the staff are doing the absolute best they can.

I like Port Hope and there aren't many hotels in the area, so I might return because I was treated so nicely, but management really needs to get it together.
