Cons:

I wish the information about it being under such intense construction would have been made available before booking. Also, our room was above the pool - it was hot and humid the entire time (with AC at its lowest).

It was a decent stay but would have been good to know construction was happening.
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Construction was under going and could hear pounding and had to walk thru construction to get to rooms. No towels in the pool area.

What a crap hole!!
Pros:

This place is completely terrible.
We booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds.
One room had the 2 beds but absolutely no heat. We called the desk 4 times before anyone came up. The guy showed up and changed the batteries in he thermostat and said everything was fine. An hour later and our room was 2 degrees colder. Call 2 more times and no one showed up ever.
The other room only had a single king bed. After going back and forth for an hour the nice lady comped us another room. The next day the manager called and insisted we pay for the comped room. When we said no that his employee comped the room he said. "You sleep in it you pay for it" and threatened to call the police.
He then went ahead and charged our card for the room and charged even more than for the other 2 roo.s.
What a joke. We are disputing the charge for the 3rd comped room with the credit card company today.

Never would stay here!!!
Pros:

Nothing GM was very rude!

Cons:

Everything the hotel said we had jointing room, and were told many time we had them. And then after being lied to we asked for our money back so we can go to another hotel and he refused!! He talked to us like we were below him!! They are also remodeling, mattresses were laying outside everywhere. Garbage everywhere!!

Decent stay despite renovations
Pros:

The place is undergoing renovations, so it’s not fully functional, but they are able to keep it going. The front desk is simply that- a place to check in, and then you go all the way to the back and enter another door to get into the wing that is open. The room was spacious and well kept. The heat was on, which was much appreciated given the below zero temperature outside. Wi-Fi was easy to access and was fine. My only complaint was the hair strands and a ball of hair on the shower curtain. The pool and gym were accessible to guests. Breakfast had hot options such as scrambled eggs, sausage, diced potatoes. Staff was friendly.

Pros:

There was NOTING TO LIKE about Quality In, at Dixon, IL

Cons:

The construction around the building was a pain-in-the-ass! There was dirt EVERYWHERE. No caution tape anywhere! Checked into my room, turned on the heat and set the smoke alarm off! The bed WAS VERY HAD AND I couldn't sleep

Cons:

Please keep in mind we have went to this hotel 2-3x a year for 6 years.
Now we have been Double charged for stay! No refund! Booked a 2 queen suite for 6 guest. Got 1 queen room. We called atleast 15x to get answers on double charge, we had to return to the hotel to even get the GM to talk to us. The GENERAL MANAGER (Hassan Qureshi) WAS VERY RUDE AND SHUT THE WINDOW IN OUR FACES when we are standing outside in 15°

Pros:

Very nice facility. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. The pool area is very nice as well as the workout room.

Cons:

Very disappointing that none of the jacuzzis in any of the jacuzzi rooms were working. Construction guys left debris and glass all around the front of the hotel.

Excellent Customer Care Choice Hotel Dixon
Pros:

Excellent customer service, we had issue with heat/air. Maintenance Jose was dispatched to room repaired toilet issue and brought us space heater immediately and helped us. Outstanding courteous service. Will stay again as choice member. M and M
