Great spot to base out of to tour all the local distilleries & historical sites.
Pros:

Breakfast was good for a free breakfast included with the room. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. Room was clean and everything we needed for the night. Hotel bar was a nice touch for relaxing after the long day. Staff was very polite and helpful for directions & local amenities.

Cons:

The entrance to the front door was blocked off so one could not drive up & check in / unload there. This looked to be temporary though.

Good location. Very clean. Very nice staff.

Cons:

Our room was on the second floor. There is no elevator. We are seniors and it was difficult climbing up the stairs with our luggage to get to the room. This was the only negative thing about our stay but we wouldnt do it again. Just not designed for older patrons.

Once the smell dissipates from painting a decent place
Pros:

Nice large room bed was very comfortable

Cons:

Room was recently painted and there was a strong smell or it was the flooring. Had a difficult time sleeping.

Pros:

Stayed at the Distill-Inn April 2026. Very friendly and helpful check in. Room was very nice, clean, well worth the money. Breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it was good and staff was very friendly. Nice decor, highly recommend staying here.

Pleasant Surprise
Pros:

We came to Bardstown for the RJ Corman Train dinner. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was excellent. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We will be going back in the fall for the Bourbon Festival.

Best weekend!
Pros:

Staffing was the best. Knowledge about the area and friendly. Owner even shuttled us to dinner because no Uber was available.

The Distill-Inn provided everything we needed to enjoy the Bourbon Trail.
Pros:

The breakfast was good, however, it was a little small. I think you should have offered danish, muffins, and other grab and go breakfast items so that we could grab something and go to Mammoth Cave.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like. The room was big, clean and comfortable. We would gladly stay at the Distill-Inn the next time we are in Kentucky and the Bourbon Trail.
