The Catalonia chain never disappoints, big comfortable beds & all the extra little touches to make your stay more pleasant. Pool lounges were soooo comfy. It’s a shame the pool fountain wasn’t working. Excellent breakfast. Reception staff were fantastic.
The restaurant disappointed me, my chicken was well overcooked & my partners pork belly’s skin wasn’t crackled but their cocktails were fabulous.
The staff in this hotel are superb. Polite and so helpful. Fantastic the Catalonia should be proud of them.

Excellent hotel in convenient position for sightseeing and restaurants but very quiet. All staff very helpful and polite - arranged a great Douro valley trip for us which was very enjoyable.
