Beautiful property. They had a nice welcoming for my parents who were celebrating their 40th anniversary there. Friendly staff.

Cuando llegas a este hotel ya te das cuenta que va a ser mejor que en las fotos y asi es! Las instalaciones son muy amplias, limpias y cuidadas. La piscina es enorme y increíblemente limpia, tiene una parte para niños pequeños. Las vistas desde las tumbonas son maravillosas asi como el cuidado jardín lleno de arboles con la flor areliya. Todo el personal es muy atento y cariñoso y siempre estan dispuestos a ayudarte. Me picó un insecto en el pie y Dammi estuvo conmigo poniéndome un remedio para curarlo. Personal de limpieza y hasta el chef estuvieron preocupados por mi pie. Maravillosos todos! La habitación triple es enorme, gran terraza con sillas y mesa. Tiene aire acondicionado y ventilador. Nos prepararon una decoración preciosa con toallas y flores encima de la cama. Increible. El chico que trae la comida del Room Service es muy profesional. Hay secador de pelo y productos de gel shampoo etc. el restaurante esta muy bien. El buffet del desayuno es variado y esta rico. En cuanto a situación, puedes llegar caminando al centro en unos 25 min pero un tuktuk es lo mejor. El ultimo dia el director del hotel salió a despedirnos, fue realmente amable! Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Es un hotel grande pero la acogida ha sido como si estuvieras en tu casa. Es muy recomendable. Gracias!

We wanted to try out this hotel based on the good reviews it had. We did the reservation on hotels.com and received a confirmation from hotels.com. When we arrived at the hotel the front desk staff informed us that there is no such reservation. We were stuck outside the lobby for almost 2 hours with our 2 year old daughter. It was very frustrating. After sometime the hotel front desk person informed us that the online booking system was managed by a 3rd party company and we have to speak to the 3rd party who handle the online bookings to sought this out, since it was the online booking companies responsibility for not passing the booking to the hotel. It was extremely disappointing to hear that, as it's not our concern to know who handle what. And then they were trying to find a different hotel, which we did not want. After about 2 hours waiting in the lobby the resident manager came and informed us that they will provide us a room and things will be taken care of. We appreciate the effort put by the resident manager to take care of the situation. We recommend anyone doing an online booking with Tamarind Lake to call the confirm the booking as there online booking system is completely broken, as the hotel does not know when a guest make reservations online. We appreciate the effort put by the resident manager to settle the issue, hotel has to take responsibility for these incidents as a customer it's irrelevant for the customer to know who handles which part of the business.

Beautiful scenic environment. Friendly service. Delicious food. Nice place to stay. Very close to religious sites.
Inside room comfy and the quality of furniture and bedding need improvements.

Clean and easy access to pool and other facilities. Food is quite goos and the staff is very friendly.
