Charming, remote hotel in a stunning environment
Pros:

The most amazing hotel of our trip. Completely off grid in a breathtakingly beautiful setting. Comfortable rooms, lovely food and kind staff. We loved it!

Un endroit vraiment unique, au cœur d'une nature préservée. Le calme est absolu et le silence environnant rend le séjour particulièrement reposant. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée dans une atmosphère chaleureuse, avec un très bon dîner vegan préparé avec soin. La chambre était confortable et nous avons très bien dormi. Le petit-déjeuner vegan était également excellent, varié et généreux. Un grand merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Si vous recherchez un lieu paisible, loin de tout, tout en profitant d'une cuisine de qualité, Garvault House est une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Tolles Hotel im Nirgendwo.
Pros:

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel. Fast wie ein Museum. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auch haben wir ein hervorragendes Abendessen bekommen. Es gab keinen Fernseher, somit konnte man die Ruhe genießen.

A fabulous and unique property in a superb landscape. Expensive but it is remote.

Great choice, large tea pot, which is always a bonus!

The eveeing meal was a little light on portion size and I'm not a big guy.

Atmospheric experience of the Highlands
Pros:

We loved the wonderfully unusual and unique experience of the Garvault. The location, building, room, staff and dining experience were all highly atmospheric. The long drive on single track roads leading to this isolated location adds to the experience. The hotel is furnished and decorated in a fitting manner, that is unlike anything you will find anywhere else.
The landscape is part of the experience and wandering the sheep trails by the stream, or following the land rover tracks up the mountain are equally enjoyable and relaxing.
I wholeheartedly encourage a stay at this amazing hotel.

Remote, characterful, suirable for onward journeys
Pros:

Location is remote, i.e. single track roads 10 miles each way to reach better roads.
Breakfast was ok
Evening meals were fun as comunal with other guests, no choice on food though. Food was home cooked.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful remote location, with stunning views.
Proprty is a fomer fishing lodge style, which is very basic, though ouzes character.

Cons:

Remoteness, long drives to sites.
