I should have paid $40 more for a better stay
Pros:

Location was close to uncc.

Cons:

Beds were too hard. Wall a/c didn't work efficiently. Took all night to cool the room even though the high outsislde was 75. Shower was designed for a private home built in the 90s. Breakfast was mediocre. Ran out of bacon. The hotel staff found my driver's license, which I used to check in with, and didn't bother to contact me. A couple of days later when I realized it gone, I called and asked if they would mail it to me. They would not.

Cons:

Elevator was broke. Ice machine was broke. Sheets were dirty. Never got housekeeping on a 3 night stay. Was charged 115.00 randomly and no one could tell me what for along with a few other guest. Also there was no staff above the receptionist available all weekend.

Check in was fast. The hotel did not smell bad

The room was run-down. Rush on many items. Curtains stained. Peeling paint. Torn and dirty furniture.
