Disappointing - room desperately needs renovating - unable to sleep due to the temperature of the room
Pros:

Location was close to the university and hotel had parking. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Room very tired in desperate need of renovation. Temperature of the room was unbearable - so hot - despite having the fan on full and window open all night. Carpet and walls dirty, door damaged and difficult to lock

Very run down, not very clean, dirty socks from previous guests on landing, no room cleaning for 4 days (even though I had asked for it),

Location good. 10 - 15 minutes to town centre.
Pub 5 minutes. Breakfast very good

The staff is very kind and helpful, making staying in this hotel much better.

Comfortable room, shame about the food
Pros:

The room was small, but perfectly fine for one person. The bed was extremely comfortable, decent pillows and well equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery. The bathroom was again, very small, but clean and everything worked well.

Cons:

The room was let down by the public areas and dining. The lounge and conservatory are not places you want to pass time. I ate in the hotel the first night and the meal was awful, bland and lacking in vegetables. Breakfast was prepacked croissant and dreadful coffee. Not worth the money. However the Queen's Head pub 5 minutes walk away does lovely food.

Good size room for a short break , comfortable beds and a small kitchen area for self catering, full range of cooked breakfast options and continental breakfast buffet , local bus stops less than a minute walk , tescos within ten minutes walking distance
