I left my wedding ring and I called about it and they said they didn't find it...
The staff were friendly and nice, including housekeeping. Close to free ferry to Harbor Park, Tides baseball park.
It was 1/2 the price of the other hotels in the area which is why I chose it.
If you like Starbucks, there is one right next to the hotel.
There was a terrible rain/lighting and thunder storm with 2-4" of rain in a few hours and there was regional flooding. Rain came in under the window of my hotel room on top of AC unit. When I told hotel staff, they noted my concern but didn't do anything. I used hotel towels to mop it up. The lobby leaked from the rain. The road in front of the hotel flooded. Cars were stranded in roadway. Many cars in hotel parking lot had water up to the door. There were few spots to park outside of flooding area. Some of the spots that flooded had warning signs that the spot might flood. The next morning all the flooding was gone. A pan handlers was in the parking lot of the hotel. It's certainly not the hotel's fault that there was flooding or a huge rainstorm. There really wasn't anywhere for the water to go.
It was close to where we needed to be
The rooms smelled bad, they had no extra cots
No access to open windows in room toilet seat old..
This hotel wasn't terrible. The room was decent and clean, the bathroom had good water pressure and everything flushed and drained as it should. My low review comes from the bed and the pillows. While there were 6 pillows when I arrived, they were small and flat. First night wasn't terrible, but woke up the next morning with a pinch in my back. I didn't do anything at work that would warrant that, so it had to be the bed. The pillows were small and flat making sleeping difficult at times. The bed was soft and well used causing me to sink in and further the pain in my back.
Overall, IF I had to stay here again, I would. I would ask for more pillows or stop and buy one as a throw away.
The staff were incredible and responded to all of our requests (new sheets after a child spilled. A few muffins when we were late for breakfast) they were incredible and kind.
The flooding was hazardous.
The best part were the front desk lady and the breakfast room lady were very professional. The room was good with a working fridge and microwave.
Lines down the TV, but not bad enough to request a replacement, and a few stains on one bed cover. None of this was a show stopper for me.
The hotel has declined in presentation after being acquired by a new owner. The evening staff was unaccommodating with an unwelcoming demeanor. The comforter had brown stains, the handicap seat was torn/shredded, there were rust stains on the shower wall and handicap seat, brown water sitting at the bottom of the shower, and the room was very warm at check-in. The outside of the hotel was always occupied by people that looked homeless and I was not comfortable walking with my daughter. The ONLY saving grace was the morning breakfast staff person... Ms. Neffy. Her smile was welcoming and she asked on a continual basis if I needed anything. I regret spending as much money as I did and could have stayed at a lesser graded hotel and felt safer and would have been accommodated with my request.
The area was a good area for food and things and the pillows were phenomenal ! Housekeeping was excellent every-time we asked for something they gave it to us right away with no problem !
The pool wasn’t open but online it said it was. The lady at the front desk was rude and the rooms with the kitchen had nothing to cook with nor any silverware (did not say that before booking). The stove was also dirty and the tub had hair in it when we arrived and there was also someones old contact on the bathroom floor.
