Got over charged for the room ac wasn't as cold but the breakfast was cold

The continental breakfast was medicine, it was food, edible. Downstairs men’s bathroom was closed, only place to go was your room. Pool was nice except cars didn’t work to get back in, later notified it was unlocked and there were no towels outside, called front desk, no answer, walked around the building to request for pool towels
The location was perfect for us. Right off the highway. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Plus Buc-ee's across the highway from the hotel. It has a workout room. The pool is outside, which is a bonus. Staff welcomes you back in each time you go through the lobby to get to the elevator.
The facility felt dated and old. The floor in our room was a bit uneven, as though the flooring was placed over a divot in the floor, so it gave when you stepped on it. The initial checkin didn't leave us feeling great about the staff, but she must have been having a bad day. Afterwards she was very pleasant.
I’ve stayed here before. That’s what made me want to come back. With this go round was not the best experience. Staff friendly as usual though. I love that.
I’ve stayed here before, but the room I had this time was horrible. The room smelled musty like mildew. The windows had mold/mildew on them from the outside, so we really couldn’t get a clear view. The floor was sticky to walk on in certain areas. The bathroom needed a paint job. The faucet from the tub was detaching from the tub wall. Took a minute for the hot water to come on. The bed was ok. The AC made a loud noise for a little second until it decided to level out. The breakfast was ok. Paint chips of the tub and the door and the ceiling. Ceiling had a water stain in the bathroom. Cracks in the ceiling and floor by the bathroom tub. Tv was outdated small and looked like it had been dropped there was a line in screen remote was dusty and sticky. The room looked like an abandoned room never used but was lightly cleaned. I loved the pool and hot tub on last visit but hot tub over chlorinated and was not hot.

The young girl was really nice. She had her hands full, with all the complaints and a entire baseball team had to check out due to mold and unacceptable living conditions.
Hotel is extremely run down. The restaurant had a big hole in the ceiling what appeared to be from mold and water damage. On the 3rd floor doors were propped open to air out the rooms. In our room the mold smell was strong my husband had a severe allergy attack. Mildew covered the inside and outside windows in the room. Furniture was sparce and outdated. Grounds were in desperate need of maintenance.
We lined the location and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was adequate. There was very little variety. While we appreciate having breakfast at our hotel, I don’t feel it was a good value for the extra cost.
Not on a busy touristy road...was nice and quit with a lake (nice bass) and golf nearby. It was clean and very friendly. On the first morning there the boiler was out (july 2nd) once they were aware of the problem it was fixed within 4 hours and breakfast was comped

Beds are VERY uncomfortable and pillows are hard. Rust around bottom outside of bath tub, VERY low water pressure, the a/c grill was broke and falling off and a/c had a musky smell. The extra door lock was very loose. Everything really needs to be completely updated and fixed. Breakfast cost about $16.

False advertisement on booking.com and holiday Inn rooms didn't look exactly what the picture displayed ( A.I generated ) as soon as you get off the elevator ( 4th floor ) you can see the carpet was molded and never cleaned ( i have pictures to show you ) room smell mold on the sprinklers bathroom look like they the pasture the ceiling like they had leakage before ( i have pictures) holiday Inn looked like a cheap rundown hotel STAY AWAY
This was the worst Holiday Inn we have stayed at as platinum members, the sad thing is it had potential to be the best and prettiest. There was no upkeep on the exterior at all. There is mold all over the outside of the building (had a video, but there is no place to post it). The grass was over grown, weeds in all the landscaping, rusted electrical boxes and broken pool cleaning tools. The hot tub was not working properly (not heating), but they were still letting people use it without telling anyone. My husband is a maintenance director and it is sad that they have let this beautiful property fall in to the state it is in!
