Dissapointing Experience
Pros:

Disappointing Experience – Overpriced for the Condition

The hotel room felt very outdated and showed clear signs of minimal, neglected maintenance. Considering the poor condition of the room, the price was far too high. Bathroom door didnt close, paint from the bath tub peeling off. Overall, it fell well below expectations and was not worth the money

Horrible
Pros:

Nothing, the worst stay of my life.

Cons:

- The receptionist was very rude.
- We had to move rooms due to the horrible odor in the hallway and room.
- When we moved to another floor, we encountered the same issue: everything was damp and smelled. There was a dirty cotton bud on the floor, and the bathroom was old and dirty.
- Only two outlets worked.
- I woke through the night to loud sounds coming from the fridge.
- The air conditioner is dirty, and the air is not hygienic; it also sounds like an airplane.
- I was upset the first night as I was scared to sleep in the bed; it felt so dirty that I was worried about bed bugs.

The rolling shower and bathroom with excellent my wife loved it she would love to go back there every time so we will make the Holiday inn and golf and world golf village are number one hotel to come back to my wife really loved it hopefully we can always get that going shower bathroom that we had in room 106

Cons:

The continental breakfast was medicine, it was food, edible. Downstairs men’s bathroom was closed, only place to go was your room. Pool was nice except cars didn’t work to get back in, later notified it was unlocked and there were no towels outside, called front desk, no answer, walked around the building to request for pool towels

This go round was not the best.
Pros:

I’ve stayed here before. That’s what made me want to come back. With this go round was not the best experience. Staff friendly as usual though. I love that.

Cons:

I’ve stayed here before, but the room I had this time was horrible. The room smelled musty like mildew. The windows had mold/mildew on them from the outside, so we really couldn’t get a clear view. The floor was sticky to walk on in certain areas. The bathroom needed a paint job. The faucet from the tub was detaching from the tub wall. Took a minute for the hot water to come on. The bed was ok. The AC made a loud noise for a little second until it decided to level out. The breakfast was ok. Paint chips of the tub and the door and the ceiling. Ceiling had a water stain in the bathroom. Cracks in the ceiling and floor by the bathroom tub. Tv was outdated small and looked like it had been dropped there was a line in screen remote was dusty and sticky. The room looked like an abandoned room never used but was lightly cleaned. I loved the pool and hot tub on last visit but hot tub over chlorinated and was not hot.

Great Location
Pros:

The location was perfect for us. Right off the highway. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Plus Buc-ee's across the highway from the hotel. It has a workout room. The pool is outside, which is a bonus. Staff welcomes you back in each time you go through the lobby to get to the elevator.

Cons:

The facility felt dated and old. The floor in our room was a bit uneven, as though the flooring was placed over a divot in the floor, so it gave when you stepped on it. The initial checkin didn't leave us feeling great about the staff, but she must have been having a bad day. Afterwards she was very pleasant.

Unacceptable
Pros:

The young girl was really nice. She had her hands full, with all the complaints and a entire baseball team had to check out due to mold and unacceptable living conditions.

Cons:

Hotel is extremely run down. The restaurant had a big hole in the ceiling what appeared to be from mold and water damage. On the 3rd floor doors were propped open to air out the rooms. In our room the mold smell was strong my husband had a severe allergy attack. Mildew covered the inside and outside windows in the room. Furniture was sparce and outdated. Grounds were in desperate need of maintenance.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and every member of the staff we encountered was excellent.
Pros:

We lined the location and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was adequate. There was very little variety. While we appreciate having breakfast at our hotel, I don’t feel it was a good value for the extra cost.

Very laid back no street noise
Pros:

Not on a busy touristy road...was nice and quit with a lake (nice bass) and golf nearby. It was clean and very friendly. On the first morning there the boiler was out (july 2nd) once they were aware of the problem it was fixed within 4 hours and breakfast was comped
