Categories

Cleanliness
6.1
Mixed reports: several guests called rooms clean, but multiple mentions of bad smells, dirty upholstery/couch, poorly laundered towels, cigarette smoke, and a pool that could be cleaner — overall below average cleanliness.
Service
9.1
Generally praised: many guests reported very friendly, accommodating staff (helpful late check-in host, staff who called guests by name). Isolated report of a rude front-desk interaction, but overall service sentiment is strongly positive.
Location
9.7
Consistently positive: multiple reviews highlight a great location, close to shopping and the mall — a clear strength for this property.
Room Quality
6.5
Mixed to below average: rooms are described as adequate and safe by some, but issues include low shower water pressure, noisy fridge, non-working jacuzzi, rooms getting hot, and uncomfortable pull-out mattresses.
Amenities
6.4
Below average: guests noted missing or non-functional amenities (no hair dryer, advertised kitchen not present, broken jacuzzi, pool issues) and small in-room fridge noise — amenities did not consistently meet expectations.
Value for Money
6.8
Mixed/leaning negative: several guests felt the stay did not justify the price and warned others to 'save your money,' though some guests mentioned good value; overall slightly below target.
Food and Beverage
6.5
Mixed: some guests enjoyed the breakfast, but there are repeated complaints about limited options, poor quality (spoiled milk, prepackaged/fake scrambled eggs), and undesirable protein choices for some guests.
Overall Experience
7.3
Balanced overall: a mix of strong service and location positives with recurring cleanliness, amenity, and food issues leads to an average overall impression matching the target rating.

It was okay just not for the amount I paid.
Pros:

The stay was good we were just missing a few amenities that you would normally have when staying at a hotel.

Cons:

We hardly had clean towels had to ask staff for them. Also we had no way to dry our hair when leaving the water.

Pros:

The Comfort Suites Tampa provided a completely adequate, no-frills stay for a single night, delivering basic comfort without any memorable highlights. The room was clean and felt safe, featuring standard amenities, a decent mattress, and functional Wi-Fi. It met all essential needs for a quick, uncomplicated stay.

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower was low, and the small fridge ran all night, making it hard to sleep soundly.

Everything was great. Staff was very friendly and even called me by name when I walked in to check
Pros:

Location was great. Help never hurried any of the late arrivals for breakfest. Everything well stocked.
