Excellent location on highway 101 with proximity to good restaurants, shops and transportation.

The breakfast was very good and quite varied. The staff was friendly and courteous. Location was not a consideration in choosing the hotel, but it was easy to get in and out of.
The carwash next door (south side of the hotel) started up around 7:30 pm with workers getting ready for customers at 8:00 am. A little noisy for a while.

The bed was not as comftable
We visited CA for a week and stayed in 3 different hotels. Country Inn & Suites was the best in every expect.
Usually a 5-star review every time.
This time, however, the crew really over did it with the chemicals. I'm already sensitive to strong odors, but this was really bad and right at the head of the bed.
Entire first 24 hours, headache and sore throat from the odor even with the window wide open and the fan on.
It did dissapate somewhat after the first day, but I basically lost the first day to this.
Also unusual were the hairs on the bathroom floor.
Again, this was the first time for both of these and I would not discourage anyone from staying at this facility, which is very nice in every respect.

Location is good for us since it’s close to where I wanted to be, it’s quiet. Staff kept the room cleaned.
Breakfast is not good at the same time it’s offered only till 9 am which is too early for us. Carpets in the room are worn out, gives the impression that it’s dirty. I’m sure the sheets were replaced between guests but since it’s wrinkly, it felt dirty. Shower water pressure is low. Outlet by the si k is not working.

Location was a good base, not walking distance to anything other than fast food outlets.

Breakfast was still usual continental but best overall on the stay.
We only stayed 1 night on tour so cant advise.
