The forest
The staff were abrupt and the remote in the room didn’t work
Location was nice, staff were friendly. I was able to access our room with a late check in.
I bumped my head into the end of the bed which had an overhanging shelf. I bled all over the pillow. Also, the quality of the food we had was mixed. My wife had a curdled crème brûlée.
What not to like.
Fantastic location. Good beer. Excellent parking. Water in shower was very hot.
Bed was uncomfortable. Sheets were well used and had seen better days. Room was very hot . With the windows open we were invaded by mosquitoes.
A great spot in a very rural setting. The room was in the outer older traditional building right by the main hotel reception, bar and restaurant.
The booking said no food options, however the main building does offer food and drink.
We had to kill a few mosquitos upon arrival in our room.

Only booked here as states on booking.com that there was a restaurant. We were in the middle of a motorbike tour around Germany and needed somewhere nice with a restaurant after a long day. On arrival we were informed that the restaurant wasn't open but there was one in the next village. Having known the restaurant was closed we would have no way booked as after a long day on the bikes you want to relax without travelling about trying to find food. The owner I think took pity on us and decided he could make us all a burger. The burger was very nice but we had plans of a nice meal as it was clear to see that it would have been a good menu. There was no kettle in the room and wasn't able to get a coffee the next morning until 9am which for us was no good as we were leaving at 8.30
That they called me, as I did not make it to the egreed tjek in time❤
