Lovely hotel with gorgeous view of the bay and a very nice dining area. There aren’t a lot of recreational opportunities aside from going on organized excursions. No bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkelling is marginal due to visibility. Good for a 3 night visit.

Le séjour au Nuky Hiva Pearl Resorts est un vraie expérience de sérénité. Les bungalow face à la baie de Taiohae invitent à la méditation. Le personnel est plein de bienveillance et les diners sur la terrasse très subtile

Très bel hôtel, vue superbe sur la baie de Taiohae. La qualité de l’accueil et du service du personnel est très inégale. Certaines personnes sont charmantes et facilitent les choses, d’autres répondent non à toute demande. Le directeur n’est pas présent le week-end et l’hôtel est laissé sous la responsabilité des employés, ce qui n’est pas normal dans un Relais et Châteaux.

The Nuku Hiva Pearl Resort is the perfect place to stay! It is combining very nice and clean local style bungalows with very kind staff and superior dining! Our stay there was a highlight of our 9 weeks stay in French-Polynesia. We will come again for sure!

Le meilleur hotel de l’île
Chambre très raffinée et restauration de haut niveau.
Seuls les moustiques très présents à cette saison ont un peu diminué notre moment de plaisir

Beau Resort bungalows dans un très beau jardin tropical, vue magnifique sur baie et les crêtes sauvages. Trop éloigné du micro centre du village et du port. Isolé ! Moustiques et Nono dès 16:00....envahi et mordu en moins de 24 heures
Pas de moustiquaire de lit.
Nourriture excellente, peu typique et suggestions répétitives... Il faut n'aimer le thon.
Piscine a débordement ridicule 3mx4m, au milieu de la terrasse du restaurant.

Check-in:
When we came to the front desk to check in, receptionist got a call in the middle of our check-in and started assisting person on the phone while we were standing in front of her, waiting to be done and get back to us.

Room:
The first room we were put in had broken A/C; after trying to fix it, the staff moved us to another bungalow. The door wouldn't close. After we called and asked front desk to help us close the door, we were told that she would be right there. It took 15 minutes for the person to show up apparently after cigarette break.

Dining:
There was one person serving a whole dining room in both roles, waiter and bartender. We had to fetch food menus ourselves after waiting at the table, and bill took couple of reminders. Breakfast buffet was another story. Even though they serve breakfast until 9am, when I came at 8:40, a lot of things would have been already empty and staff didn't bother to replenish the items (such as juices, or drinking water). When we would ask for something, it seemed to be a bother for the serving person.

One positive experience was interaction with the manager, who would fix everything after messiness of his staff.

Overall, the location and view are astonishing; just don't expect service. period.

Posizione splendida sulla baia e cucina eccezionale. Qualche disguido sul servizio transfer da/per l’aeroporto.

Magnifique bungalow avec vue imprenable sur la baie. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. Le restaurant propose des plats délicieux ! Les excursions sont de qualité.
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !!
