Pros:

To begin, our stay at RB 466 lasted 2 weeks and was one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff was extremely thoughtful and kind providing all the necessary services we required during our stay. The room was incredibly comfortable, clean, spacious and was equipped with all the high quality furniture and amenities we needed. The concierge was always available and helpful in providing us our requests from house keeping and beyond. Given Lebanon’s current economic climate, it was a breathe of fresh air to be welcomed and accommodated so well by RB 466. Given the amazing location and quality of service, we will definitely stay here again in the future and I highly recommend any other travelers coming to Beirut to reserve there.

Pros:

Shocking encounter I received a call from someone who claimed himself as the owner of the hotel after 2 hours Ive checked in. I was asked to pay for the room as he hasn't received my payment via Expedia. And he demanded me to pay in CASH as they have no credit card machines at their premise. I asked " what if I don't have enough cash to pay?" , he said : " then sorry you will have to move out."

This was shocking and unreasonable! First of all, how on earth I could identify if he is the REAL hotel owner ( I was talking to him on his staff's mobile). Second, the premise doesnt has a credit card machine? And if you can't pay cash - you are out!

This caused me a moment of panic and I had to contact Expedia to help resolved the case ( Thanks Expedia for your prompt action).

This incident makes me feel very disturbed. Apparently 'hotel owner' have not even check with Expedia on the payment before throwing the time bomb to his guests.

Here's another shocking truth: when I returned to my room to look for my missing item - 6 hours passes checked out. The room looked neat and ready for the next guests. But I spotted the bedsheets has the same "spots" as the one I've used! Apparently they did not change the sheets! I wonder how many times has it been recycled!
There's no kettle/ hair dryer/ drinking water provided, no floor mat for bathroom is disappointing. But nothing beats the disgusting sheets.
RB466 needs shut down immediately until they learn how to operate hotel again.
