It is very clean, pleasant, and close to the places I visited. The only downside was the breakfast service; the person in charge on one of the days—specifically the one wearing a nurse's uniform—was very unpleasant. It was only 9:00 AM, and although breakfast runs until 9:30 AM, she had already cleared everything away and acted very annoyed when I asked about it. I give the breakfast service a 0, but otherwise, it was delightful! No complaints at all.

Breakfast usually is very good but this time the cook wasn't friendly no gravy no decals coffee sausage was cold n middle said she didn't feel like fixing gravy this morn was sitting at table on her phone old cook was great I usually tip m receptionist was great he's really nice everytime

The television did not work in our initial room, staff moved us after they were unable to fix it.

Night staff seemed dismissive not approachable. While they did answer request didn’t seem like they cared or had an interest in even talking.
Good location - convenient to get to beaches but not be in the middle of a lot of congestion.
Roaches seen in room and hallways. Bed not comfortable. TV didn’t work. Breakfast was barely edible. Sheets had yellow stains. Pool was very small.

The price I was charged. I’ve paid less for a nice oceanfront King suite. Also noticed that it said there was only one room like that left when I booked it only to see after I paid there were 2 of the same rooms available for half the price.
The staff was great! They made fantastic suggestions and were super accommodating.
On our way farther south, the Best Western Shallotte provided us with a nice large king room that even had a jacuzzi in it at a reasonable price for a Saturday in June though the price I reserved at 6 months ago had now doubled. Check in and out was a breeze and they had a nice little pool area also. The grounds were landscaped nicely with a lot of palms and conveniently located next to a visitors' center. The continental breakfast was good and the young guy monitoring it was very nice and keep everything full and clean. They had waffles, eggs, omelets, biscuits and gravy as well as muffins, pastries, cereal, juices, coffee etc. Would definitely return under the same circumstances.
