Everything was good as usual. Facilities were great. I have stayed at this hotel many times and the rooms have always been spot on.

Cons:

Upon checking in, we didnt feel a warm welcome from the main lady in the reception. There was no smile on her face and looked as if she was forced to be there. She told my husband that if we wanted a late checkout we would need to it before 10pm and pay for it. However we went out and got back pretty late. Around 4am we rang down at reception and the man said the late checkout was fine but we had to come down and pay. We informed him that we stay at this hotel all the time and when we do late checkout weve always paid upon leaving. He could also check the records for my bookings. He apologised and said it was a policy therefore we had to come down now. At 4AM my husband had to get changed and go down just to pay for a late checkout. It was quite ridiculous. We’ve stayed at many hotels and nobody has ever behaved this way. Usually other hotels automatically charge your card for additional charges such as late checkout. The hotel should state its policies clearly either at the property or on booking.com, rather than have staff talk rudely towards customers. However the man at the reception on a night has always tried his best to make our stay amazing and has very good customer service skills.

(Sorry for the negative review, but as a paying customer who comes regularly im very disappointed. I always leave reviews at every place so others can book and ive even recommended this hotel to many people who have started booking as the hotel itself is great. But being this was my regular hotel, but i will start to re-think my choice now due to the service provided).

Great short stay!
Pros:

It was a comfortable, good size room. Space to practice yoga.

Cons:

It was a little bit noisy at night...sounds travel a lot, like when showers turned on, light switches, voices, etc.

The whole hotel was not up to scratch. They need to get everything working and go to another 4 star hotel to see how it is done. The staff really tried hard
