It’s ok but dated
The receptionist was either grumpy or poor English I’m not sure
No tv remote in the room for a tiny screen some 20 feet from the bed which was frustrating
Bed was ok but kept rolling into the centre connection where the two singles were joined
Clean and serviceable. But falls short of a travel lodge or premier inn standard
This can’t be a full review as arrived 10:30pm and left early the next morning.
I had the executive room. Very big and looked like two rooms knocked into one.
Overall felt a bit run down. No wall lights so needs phone torch to get into room.
Two small wall heaters but did warm room up, towel heater didn’t work. Bathroom was freezing. Bed was the dreaded two beds joined up so you either sleep like a single bed or on ridge. Breakfast started at 7am which was a bit late really and missed it . Most start at 6:30am.
Beginning to look a bit tired but otherwise all good. Very welcoming of our dogs as it was pre-Crufts. Biggest gripe was size of pillow in otherwise comfortable bed; they are tiny and there is only one each.
The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are clean and spacious
Hotel staff friendly, room large, plenty of parking space, food in bar was good and overall the hotel was ok and convenient for the meetings I had in Coventry
The Wifi was very poor in room and the TV had limited channels which really was disappointing
Everything is very good ( room / eating place/ all staff) excellent👍
We only stayed one night here. Staff were lovely, room was immaculate and bed was comfy. The only thing that bothered me that the breakfast buffet. There wasn’t much option and when food ran out you had to wait 10 minutes for more to come out.
nice value for money
Excellent facilities and location. Just one minor issue... cooked breakfast could have been warmer. Otherwise, all good!
Would happily stay again excellent value for money
Friendly and helpful check-in, good size room with the usual hotel room facilities, comfortable and quiet stay, and good selection of breakfast items. Plenty of free parking too.
It was perfect for what we needed , just an overnight stop for a cheer competition we were going to . Maybe the tv could do with sorting as it had 2 lines down it , but other than that nice comfortable stay .
We arrived at the hotel with a dog walking around in the reception area we walked into our family room greeted with a strong smell of damp stains all over the carpets mould in the bathroom worst room we have ever stayed in receptionist was rude and when we woke this morning we looked on the menu which stated restaurant was open until 10am on a Sunday we all went down for breakfast to be greeted by the receptionist asking what we was doing!! I stated we wanted breakfast she replied restaurant not open today!!!
I wouldn’t recommend staying in this hotel what so ever
The hotel is worn and carpet’s threadbare in places. Feels sad. The room had a strange unclean smell and the heater even on full was not enough to warm the room up at all. The bathroom floor was so cold.
In the morning the hot water wa tepid at best and the room was so cold I dressed by the heater and left
Was ok but room not upto previous stays.
The staff couldn't be more accommodating
Excellent room, very clean and tidy
Friendly Staff , very large room to what we normally expect which was pleasant surprise just bit outdated and definitely needs an update and lick of paint.
To be honest I was pretty impressed with the room, there was a double and a single bed, two sofas, some chairs, a desk and a good size TV that I could sign in on to watch iPlayer.
What annoyed me more than anything was the woman on the front desk for check-in. She was clearly doing something when we arrived to check-in (which was late in the day but not outside the check-in hours) and instead of any sort of greeting she just stared at me, considering I had bags with me I was obviously there to check-in, she could have said hello, or asked me my name but she just stared for a good five seconds without saying anything. Her tone was quite off and even my teen thought she was unpleasant and they don't pay attention to anything.
Room was freezing cold - as the heater was turned off and barely heated the room with it on full all night. Even the electric towel rail had been disconnected in the bathroom leaving that room also freezing cold. The outside corridor was warmer - should have slept there ! Everything was clean though and food in the evening was good. Although the breakfast was just average. Nothing special really about the hotel, it’s located right next to a dual carriage way which is difficult to get out onto when leaving in the morning.
