Staff was friendly, room clean, location good.

First let me say the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. But, the hotel was under renovation, wish I had known before. View out the window was a construction dumpster with trash. TV had a wall mount but was sitting on the dresser. Several of the channels had no signal and could not be watched. One lamp did not work. Was a king bed with pull out sofa. Due to the design of the room you could not see the TV when sitting on half the sofa. Also, not sure how the sofa bed could have been used since a wall was blocking it. Workout room closed. Came back to room at midnight and hoped to get a night cap but bar closed up. With several other hotels in the area would not stay here again.

Great location! Nice room but the hotel was under renovation!! Couldn’t enjoy the lobby and facilities. Some noises transiting furnitures.

THIS courtyard by Marriott was a great disappointment. We had stayed at a courtyard by Marriott a couple weeks prior, in a different location, that was a great experience and wanted to continue that...that was a mistake. TV's didn't work. phones didn't work. when you have a 7 and 10 year old the pool is a big part of why you choose a hotel. Atmosphere was dirty and not inviting. breakfast was limited - at least if we have to pay for it, there could be some warm food. Major reason we chose this hotel was the pool....that was closed. major construction going on that honestly they should close and get it all done. you have a family of 4 in the reservation please put 4 towels in the room. Limited/blocked parking, dirt everywhere, place was not clean. Asked for a discount because it was not a great experience and pool was not available...he took my information because management was not available...heard nothing. Concerned about fire safety towards the end...had stairwells blocked with boxes. it was a giant mess and disappointment.

So, I checked in on May 29 for a 2 night stay but found out the hotel is undergoing renovations! We weren’t told about renovations during booking, and the renovation information was not on the website!!!!
•I called the front desk prior to arrival to secure the room I booked, but when I asked to speak with a manager about the renovations, none were available.
•Upon arrival I checked into the room I secured earlier via phone call, but the room was occupied. Items from the room occupants were all over the room, and trash cans were overflowing with trash, and beds were nasty.
•Front desk gave us a second room (not the room type I reserved), but the electrical outlets were inoperable, the shower leaked a lot of water all over the floor, the room was missing towels, and when I exited the shower I slipped and fell!!!!!
•We didn’t get any sleep even after calling the front desk with noise complaints, because of the dogs barking in neighboring rooms and parties in the hallway.
•We had to exchange the stale muffin we purchased à la carte, for a fresh Breakfast item.
•Front desk told us hotel management would contact us about the issues, but nearly 2 weeks later and we haven’t heard anything. I haven’t even received communication follow-up from the hotel about my slip and fall in the shower!!

Location was convenient for what I was in town for. Parking was coinvent to facility.

Clean and quiet, great room comfortable bed and great space .

This hotel is under construction. They should not be open during this time. The lobby is torn apart and loud construction started outside our window at 6:30 am 😡 the window AC unit was loud and sounded like a car starting up everytime it came on. Once the updating is done it should be better.

This hotel is being renovated while still accepting reservations without informing guests until they arrive! The elevator is out of service and there is debris throughout. We walked to the third floor only to find out that our key cards didn’t work and had to walk back down. There is also a very loud vibration like a generator going on constantly. This is not acceptable for any hotel.

The experience was fine. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful. The only downside was the fact the hotel is undergoing a major renovation, and it was noisy at times.

The staff are very professional and accommodating.

It appears renovation way being done...boards where distorted ? Painting

Great location- near interstate exit. Close to birkdale village and other restaurants.

Hallways had not been vacuumed in weeks. Stains on walls. No breakfast at 7:00 sign read “closed”.

Just the facts not my opinion..Room was clean ,beds soft.Hallways needed to be vacuumed .No free breakfast even though it is written on the sight … free breakfast.. my shower was just warm my husbands shower was chilly at night . Next morning his shower was chilly. So fortunately I was able to get my shower elsewhere. I didn’t expect this from Marriot.

The room was under renos. Plaster patches all over the walls. Tiles were coming off the walls in the bathroom
