Good rooms but staff and reservation desk worth firing!
Pros:

The property is clean, room are spacious and it's close to NY city, so it's an easy spot to sleep at before you go for a day in town. If you happen to sleep here, do not miss Tarrytown, so cute, and the awesome Taco Project restaurant in town: hand down the best Churros we have ever had, best mango margaritas and Ever the owner is amazing!

Cons:

We asked for a nice room as we were on a little road trip without the kids. The girl at the reception sounded high and out of it. She gave us a room ground floor overlooking the parking lot (the parking lot was half empty and we could tell they did not have a lot of guests in house). We were too tired to complain but for the price we paid we expected more. In addition, the reservation desk offered us a booking price that was 60USD higher than the Booking.com reservation, and when asked why she said: we will charge you this price no matter where you book, so if you book through booking you will pay "additional charges" here. I asked which charges she was referring to as the Booking.com price included taxes and all and she said she could not give me that figure ahead of time. Nuts! So staff is definitely a no - really not good service.

The front desk staff was very kind and patient. The manager, Jeff, was also very nice.
Pros:

Location was great; breakfast was expensive. Liked the courtyard but the seat cushions were soaking wet!

Cons:

Breakfast very expensive. I just had coffee. Some more food options and better time frames for them instead of just vending machines and limited selections. I did like the little coffee machine in the room, however, and the cold water in the lobby.
