Disappointed
Pros:

Left for the day to return and find they had made a mistake and checked me out. Some of my things were thrown away, and they throw everything that wasn’t in my suitcases into a TRASH BAG, where they broke my eyeglasses and left it at the front desk. I understand mistakes happen, but the trash bag thing was a real insult.

Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean. The front desk person was exceptional. Gated parking.

Cons:

There was no exhaust fan in bathroom area. Check out time was 11am but the cleaning people were knocking on our door at 8:35am asking when we were going to leave! Then when carrying our bags out the door they were there again asking if we were out of the room now so they could come in and I said “no” we still had items in the room we had to get yet. That was at 9am!!! It wasn’t just us, they were going down the hallway knocking on other guests doors. Rude and unacceptable!

Great Accommodations, Great Bistro Staff!
Pros:

Experience so far has been great! Nice accommodations and good food at the bistro. The two women working at the bistro tonight have been amazing, very hospitable and attentive. That means a lot, for sure.

Our Reserved Room Was Given To Someone Else - Read This Review!
Pros:

Just a few days ago, my wife and I returned from a vacation in a foreign country arriving in Memphis after midnight as scheduled. Our reservation for lodging was at this hotel, with it having been made through Bonvoy (Marriott's brand) a long time before. We were informed by Courtyard that Marriott, not they, had overbooked the hotel and had given our room to someone else. We drove two hours through exhaustion to our home in Missouri. Courtyard's shuttle driver told us that this hotel is frequently overbooked with three other would-be guests of this hotel encountering the same problem the prior week. I called Marriott (Bonvoy) the next day and spoke to a supervisor who said that it was Courtyard's fault, not Marriott's, that the room was cancelled. Nobody took responsibility for giving our room to someone else.

My over all stay was great but they need to make sure the room cleaner
