Pros:

Staff was lovely.

Cons:

Air conditioning in room didn't work or wasn't turned on in entire building. We were told to open the window!

Towel hooks needed in bathroom. Only place to hang bath towels was on rod at back of bathtub.

Pros:

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Midtown East and unfortunately the experience was disappointing overall.
The cleanliness of the room was the biggest issue. The bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly — there were random hairs left behind, painted over water damaged ceilings, noticeable soap scum buildup, and visible stains in the shower. It immediately made the space feel unhygienic and poorly maintained. For a hotel in this price range and location, I expected much better attention to detail.
The room itself also showed signs of wear. The door had several scratches and scuffs, which added to the overall feeling that the property isn’t being kept up very well.
The beds were another letdown. They were very average hotel beds with little support, and the pillows were extremely flat and uncomfortable. It made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep after long days in the city.
Overall, the stay felt mediocre at best. With the rates charged in Midtown, I expected a cleaner, better maintained room and a more comfortable bed. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet those expectations

Convenient location. Good staff !!

Cons:

Thermostats were not working. Temperature was 82 F when I entered. I tried to set it to 70 but it didn't work. Staff told us to keep the windows slightly open since thermostats in the entire hotel didn't work.

Also they do not have any restrooms in the lobby. Guests have to go to 12th floor for using restrooms while waiting for check-in.

Excelente opción para la familia en NY
Pros:

La habitación espaciosa, limpia y todo funcionando. El desayuno correcto, con variedad y el piso 12 muy cómodo. Creo que lo más destacable es el personal, de todas las áreas que siempre están disponibles y con una sonrisa tratando de solucionar lo que te suceda.

Cons:

Le agregaría secador de pelo al baño y si bien te entregan un microondas si lo solicitas, sería mejor que la habitación ya lo tenga instalado. Cosas menores, realmente es un buen hotel.

Privacy, quiet, ice on every floor!
Pros:

This is a casual but well-appointed hotel. No pressure to look dressed-up all the time but still a nice space. Also they have a snack room by lobby (24-hr desk) with microwave. They also sell wine at the desk. I didn’t try any but it looked cold. The hotel is located half a block from a pharmacy; close to coffee places, MoMA. Very central.

Cons:

The only thing I could say was a disappointment was that the automated Starbucks machine was not working while I was there (just 2 nights).
