This place is trash….
Pros:

The smell of marijuana filled the entire hallway, children crying and music playing all night into the early morning, the phone in the room did work to call the front desk, calls to the front desk using personal phone were unsuccessful because they did not answer and Netflix did not work. I do not recommend this place.

Pros:

The room was nice and bed comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel is under renovation and when we pulled up it looked ran down. We wasn’t sure if we should go in because it didn’t even look open until
I seen someone walk out. The entrance looked horrible. We had to get new keys twice not sure why they stopped working. With its current state it shouldn’t have been open or rooms should have been discounted.

Great room staff attitude horrible
Pros:

Room look great. Was very spacious. Clean

Cons:

The manager was horrible. Her attitude sucked. On booking.com it simply stated that I wouldn’t need to pay anything once I arrived because I paid upfront. Come to find out they change $50. When I tried to explain to her she had a horrible attitude stating I needed to find the money.

Valet parking at this Hotel was superb Valet Mgr Jermaine W. and his staff were outstanding and very helpful towards getting us to our next location.

Excellent Customer Service by PJ
Pros:

PJ provided outstanding service during my stay. He was professional, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of so my stay went smoothly. He really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied, and it made a big difference in my experience at the Courtyard Virginia Beach/Norfolk.

I truly appreciate his attention to detail and customer care. If you get the chance to be helped by PJ, you’re in good hands.

Not worth the asking price!
Pros:

Bug free,quiet, balcony, safe, late checkout (1hr), extra towels.

Cons:

Took 1 shower, ran out of gel. Requested more, never received any. Had to go buy a bar of soap. Refrigerator was very noisy. Room was wiped down but not cleaned in a long time. Ran my hand across a shelf and it was full of dirt. Balloons from a Past guest was still in the drawer. Elevator was jerky. Don't think I will return.

Disappointing is best way to describe the stay.

Someones clothes left in the room. Recent remodeled but had major water stain on ceiling and missing grout in the bathroom. Toilet barely worked, no hot water in shower and multiple light bulbs out in bathroom.
