The location was convenient to downtown Rockford.

Cons:

It was pretty beat up. Ripped wallpaper in the bathroom. Dirty carpet etc. I would not go back. There are too many other hotels in the area to try.

We were only there 6-7 hours. Left for the airport at 4 am. Comfortable and secure hotel.

Pretty old. Pool was broke down but the staff had us go across the road to another hotel to swim so the kids were happy about that

Serviceable, and maybe slightly better
Pros:

The hotel was generally a nice hotel. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. Staff was very nice, and they had a pool in the hotel. They only had one elevator, however, and it was a long way from the front desk. You also couldn't get one of their carts easily down the sidewalk by the door where the elevator was because there was a down angle, and also a curb which it had to go over. Unless you literally parked right next to the sidewalk, which most of the time was not available, you couldn't do it. The hallways did smell slightly like smoke, and there was no breakfast or coffee in the hotel, but they did have it in the room. The room was small, but once I figured out where all the outlets were and where they were hiding the refrigerator, it was really good. Not the greatest access in the hotel, and it's a very dark and cannot be seen easily from the main road. But generally, it was a really good hotel.

The stay was good. All the staff was very nice, helpful and our room was clean and comfortable.
Pros:

It was clean, very updated and friendly staff. Very accommodating.
The staff went above and beyond to get us shuttled to and from the hockey game so we didn’t have to drive unfamiliar area.
Our driver Josh was so great. He was safe, very friendly, and he even told us some history about the Rockford area.

Cons:

No complimentary breakfast or we would have loved to have had a happy hour with drinks and maybe some appetizers after driving 3.5 hours to the hotel.

Basic but works
Pros:

I was here for business. This Courtyard is an older one that is well kept, but clearly showing wear.

Check in process was typical with nothing missed, and not very personal.

I had a room in the 2nd floor. It’s a standard Courtyard room. Bed was comfortable enough and WiFi worked fine. Nothing remarkable otherwise.

I didn’t have time to use any amenities.

It was an average stay but met my needs.

Will stay again, clean, good value, quiet room.
Pros:

Maggie, the front desk clerk. Checked me in, so friendly, helpful and accommodating! Room was spacious, loved the balcony. Beds were comfortable, pillows great.

Cons:

Very small bathroom, no fridge.
