1st time going to bathroom went to pull toilet paper from roll and the bar fell straight down. Was extremely loose and couldn't figure out how to put back correctly.

Nicely maintained hotel.
Pros:

We stayed here several times in the past, and for this around had a nice stay. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. It was a nice place to recharge and rejuvenate. There are restaurants and shops within a short drive of this hotel, and we ordered from the Bistro as well. The food actually pretty impressive and went beyond what we were expecting. Just so one knows, there is a $5 a night parking fee when you stay here.

Decent enough hotel, but...
Pros:

I've stayed at this hotel many times. It's clean, in a great location for my needs.
They have recently instituted a $5 parking fee. This is a suburban hotel, surrounded by office building parking lots.
Truly a stupid fee.

Clean and comfortable, I feel like I have found another good hotel option in Richmond.
Pros:

Staff was super nice. The room, fitness center, halls, elevators and lobby were all nice and clean and modern. The fitness center was really good. I am happy that my room was quiet, everything worked and I had everything I needed. I travel for business, so convenience, quiet and the fitness center are everything to me.

Cons:

The outside of this hotel is undergoing some contruction and it was really a mess, I wasn't sure where to go in at first, and half the sign being burnt out was a bad sign to me. I was nervous to walk in here, but the inside was so much better than the outside. Also, I travel weekly and almost everywhere else I stay offers free coffee and some kind of breakfast, so it was surprising not to see that.
