Bit dated
The location was extremely practical for accessing Cavill avenue, and transport such as the G-link to go to other areas of the GC. The bed was very comfortable, with a clean simple room and ameneties such as a fridge. Also lots of ports in both bedroom and bathroom.
The bathroom only had 1 light and no exhuast fan which made it very steamy and fogged the mirror after a shower, making getting ready difficult. Also no extra blanket, and the aircon system was confusing to use.
Clean is my preference.location

Bathroom very dated, mould in the grout and around taps in bath.
No extractor fan in bathroom meant the whole floor became very slippery and dangerous after a shower, as the steam has no where to go. Really needs to be rectified.
The long wait for the lift is painful.
Great location
Booked and paid for an ocean view room 7 months in advance. Upon check in, there were no ocean view rooms available. However we were compensated with free breakfast. Hinterland view is very noisy over weekends as overlooks the island rooftop bar.
The Novotel was a central Location to everything, once we parked we didn’t use our car once until we left.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, even with our million shopping bags, it was no bother to load the baggage trolley and drop

The breakfast buffet was heaven, They have everything! The big Nespresso machine with assorted pods (including my fave caramel) just made my morning each day.
The rooms were clean and tidy, and they will service your room even on a two night stay, which is lovely, as many places don’t.
The gym was well equipped, for both strength and cardio training.
There is a bws bottle shop and Woolworths right downstairs, as well as heaps of other shops in the paradise centre, or the Novotel is a short walk from Cavill mall.
The property itself was great, however if you’re a light sleeper, it might be an advantage to ask for a room on the opposite side to the sling shot ride.
We overlooked it, and it can be very noisy with people screaming, as it operates until late on the weekends.
