We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary with a rare night away. My husband celebrated his 80th.
Pros:

Location was great, room comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. A rare treat for us to stay at a hotel.

Pros:

Kids loved the pool, access to laundry was helpful, great location and access to activities close by.

Cons:

First night stay there was sand in the beds, catching lift in mornings during peak times was quicker to use stairs even with 5 lifts. Transport pick ups to themed parks was sometimes difficult as cars parked at entrance for long periods and not just drop off & pick ups zones.

Great location and comfort, but at the cost of audible nightlife throughout the night.
Pros:

Location of stay was great, easy access to light rail, supermarkets (Woolworths), beach, and shopping area. The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We were on the 20th floor, yet we were able to hear the loud music from the bars below us, which was highly annoying especially as it continued throughout the night.

Pros:

Beds were comfy, location right on Cavill mall was excellent with the tram across the road.

Cons:

Floor was filthy needed a good mop could feel the dirt under your feet.
Internet was slow you couldn’t stream to the tv as it kept cutting out.
No power points in the 2nd room or bedside tables
Needs a little dining table to go with the chairs in the room.

Cons:

I arrived for a late check-in and waited outside the building for over 45 minutes. During this time, I was clearly visible to security and other staff inside the facility, yet no one approached me, checked on my wellbeing, or offered assistance.
There was no signage or external information explaining late check-in procedures or how to contact staff directly, leaving me unable to access the building. This created a safety concern, particularly given the time of night and the length of time I was left waiting outside.
I ultimately had to contact my agent to reach the concierge/reception so I could gain entry. Once checked in, the concierge was polite and apologetic.
Clear signage, accessible contact information, and a more proactive staff response would significantly improve guest safety during late check-ins.
