The good -

- spacious room with two comfortable queen beds
- clean
- received a courtesy call to see if we needed anything (should have asked for extra blankets)
- complimentary coffee and tea station in the lobby

The not-so-good -

- thin bed covers - could have used extra blankets - none stored in closet (it was late, so I didn't call front desk back)
- cycling fan was noisy - so I turned the heat off - probably why I really needed another blanket
- our room faced the atrium - that's a noisy spot - if you want a quiet room, book far from the atrium
- the pool was closed so we were promised a deduction on our bill - when I returned home and opened the emailed folio, the deduction had not been made - called the hotel and they graciously refunded me - but why do I have to chase them?

This hotel is ideal for families with young children. The atrium play centre looks like it would be a blast for kids.

We had an amazing stay at Best Western Plus Leamington Hotel & Conference Centre! Traveling with 4 kids can be challenging, but this hotel made everything so enjoyable. The kids had an absolute blast with all the fun games and activities, and the indoor pool was a highlight of our trip. The amenities were excellent and well-maintained, offering entertainment for the whole family. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing night’s stay. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout. We highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a fun, convenient, and memorable stay in Leamington!

This Best Western plus is way overrated way too many stairs air condition hardly worked and the price is outrageous for the conditions of the hotel Didn’t even have breakfast in the morning. He had to pay for it. I will try to avoid this place.

The place is decrepit. Pool room isn’t heated and freezing. You might get tetanus from the rusty metal stairs. Pool water is so cloudy you can’t see the bottom of a 4’ pool. Roof leaks. Entire property is filthy. Rooms are gross, stains everywhere. Booked two nights. Left after one.

We booked the Family suite which consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a living room with a couch a small little fireplace.
I specifically called a week before to ask if there was elevator access and was told a simple “yes”. Was disappointed to find out when we got there that you can take the elevator to level 2, BUT then had to take a small set of stairs to actually get to the room.
Inside the room there was a 30cm rip of carpet right when you enter the room and proved to be a tripping hazard. The room was spacious and beds very comfy. The room with 2 beds had no window and the room with the 1 king has a view of the roof and ventilation system.
The bathroom was the worst part of the stay. It had a pretty consistent smell of sewerage coming from the drain and we had to keep the fan running to help ease the smell.
The playground was good and kids had lots of fun. The pool area was a big disappointment due to the lack of proper ventilation in the room and therefore condensation would randomly drip down from the ceiling on you wherever you chose to sit. This area definitely needs some TLC with lots of rusty spots visible on the cement floor and general pool area. The pool size is great and liked that pool towels were always available. Big negative is that there is no washroom in the pool area and can only imagine how many kids just use the pool instead when they need the washroom.
Overall some of things can be overlooked but when you factor in you pay a $12 resort fee on top of your (high) room rate, it makes it hard to overlook some of the negatives.
TIP* read the fine print about the waterslides before you go.

Lots of fun for kids in the courtyard/play area. Hotel is generally clean with the exception of the pool area which was filthy and decrepit. Roof is leaking, quite a few maintenance issues. Restaurant is nice but understaffed. Coffee and water station regularly filled was nice, staff were friendly but scarce. The price is good but needs a renovation!

Daughter was happy

We found that with the room size and amenities were overpriced for a weekday Monday and should be half that price. Very disappointed in cost charged Seniors.
