House keeping staff left out room unlocked for a day. No cleaning service for our three day stay!
There is a "Fun Zone," which is a great lounge area with many comfortable chairs and a large T.V. around a fireplace. It also has a badminton court, ping pong table, pool tables, children's climbing area and some arcade games. At the end of the Fun Zone, through a second set of doors is an indoor pool. The pool has a great slide, but only for children. It takes up a lot of space, leaving a much smaller area for swimming than most hotel pools offer.
There was dust on the light fixtures in my room and a slightly musty smell. There was no daily housekeeping (though this seems to be common in post-COVID hotel stays). The Booking.com listing mentioned a $6 breakfast buffet, which I was unable to add to my booking. When I asked the front desk person about how I could add it it at check-in she seemed irritated and said, "I don't even know now because you already have your booking." It turned out that there is no breakfast at all, except in the hotel restaurant, for considerably more than $6. Most of the options were around $20 so I didn't eat there.
We arrived at the Best Western Plus Leamington Hotel at 3pm and advised our room wouldn’t be ready until 4pm, which is the policy and is understandable. At 4pm we were given a room, and when we arrived in the room the pillows had not been places, they were piled on the bed, it was hard to tell if the bedding had been changed and were new, but we accepted that it was. The room is dated, and the rugs have stains, including the bedding. The rugs weren’t cleaned very well, and the bathroom floor has small rocks along the edges. Our room did not have any towels or bathroom linen at the time of our check in and the toilet wasn’t very clean. We were asked to wait in the lobby until the housekeeper could finish the room.
The bathroom ceiling had a panel on it, to cover a cutout, and when you would close the bathroom door too fast it would fall off. I fixed it twice but got annoyed with drywall dust falling every time it fell off, so we just left it off.
Please know that there is limited to no cell phone coverage at hotel, and the Wi-Fi is very slow, so be prepared to have limited connectivity.
The children’s amenities are why we chose this place, but had it not been for this we would not stay here. Also please know, the water-slide has a height restriction only children under 48” and over 30” can use the water-slide and this is strictly enforced.
The hotel restaurant served delicious food & the staff was friendly. There was a fun room with many games which was a nice feature.
The pool was closed for maintenance which happens, it's not necessarily the hotel's fault. The toilet wasn't working when we checked in but the maintenance staff fixed it while we were out & the hotel gave us a free breakfast voucher for the inconvenience.
I thought everything was very good except there is no phone signal at all and many people said that. I had to go for a walk to the other side of the road just to send a text. That was my only complaint but it’s a big one.
Front desk was very friendly and helpful.
Very highly priced for the hotel itself. It's very run down. I do understand that it's a kids resort tho and I don't have kids so why it's priced higher. If you don't have kids. Do not go here.

Location and concept is excellent
We stayed from 16th till 19th , no one cleans our room. Bin were overloading, no tissue papers. No one changed linens neither towels. There were no number available for reception. No door tags available

The balcony was not clean and looked quite old with no chairs .

We checked in at 5:40pm and when entered found one of the room was not cleaned all wet towels was on the floor and bed used by previous guest. Then changed the room. I got one room #218 and when entered found blood stains on the bedsheet and comforter. Reported to the front desk and changed room to 220 and found same issue then changed to another room to 221 at 7pm which is not acceptable. When opened balcony door found spider waive with spider all over the place along with bird nest.
Ruime kamer. Goede locatie.
Licht bij het bed deed het niet. Geen flesjes water op de kamer. Slechte keuze voor het ontbijt, vooral gebakken eieren, gebakken aardappels etc. Geen lekker gezond ontbijt buffet.
