Avoid at all costs

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. I was there 3 days and it felt so dirty I didn’t even want to take a shower. I spot cleaned myself. I didn’t let any of my bare skin touch anything in this room. The place stinks, the room doors open into a McDonald’s parking lot, the room did not come with all of the amenities advertised like coffee and tea maker. My keycard never worked more than once and I constantly had to get a new one, but the staff only asked for my room number and never checked my ID or even asked my name. Anyone could have gotten a key to my room. The staff still refuse to give me a receipt even though I’ve called many times, now they just hang up on me or don’t answer at all. Appalling.

This experience was awful. Motels typically can be a little less nice than hotels, however I've stayed at plenty of motels that have still been a great experience. As I was checking in, the police arrived to respond to a call from the front desk about a man that was wandering the property, knocking on people's doors. The man continued to come back while we were unloading our car. There was also another car of men that very clearly were watching my sister and I move into our room, and ultimately we decided to leave after less than an hour of being on the property, due to not feeling safe. I told the man at the front desk this was our reason for leaving, and he was not compassionate in any sense. He refused to issue a refund, due to their policies of no refund after 15 minutes of checking in. I then emailed the Days Inn customer service and they issued a partial refund, while telling me that I could have just changed my room to be closer to the office ---which would not have made me feel any safer at this property. It's really unfortunate that our concerns fell on deaf ears. We were excited about having a good deal staying at a place that looked nice in photos online, only to be very disappointed by the environment and the way the staff handled our concerns.

It was right off the highway

Cons:

It was dirty, and a lot of drug use and prostitution right outside the property, during the day. Left 20/30 minutes after checking in. Wouldn’t stay here with children, or alone.
