The check in process was quick and easy. The rooms very clean and the entire staff was friendly. Breakfast was awesome, with a lot choices!!
Difficult when arriving late even though it's advertised as arrivals up to 11:30pm.
House keeper had quit. Front desk person was cleaning rooms. Parking lot was being resurfaced and there was limited parking.
...
There was limited parking when I showed up the price I paid for the hotel and what I recieved were two different things. It was suppose to be a comfort in and it appears to be an old super 8 motel. Would not recommend.
Good
rooms were clean and enjoyed the bed and all the pillows.
parking is limited and signage for motel could be more visible.
It was a comfortable stay.. the only problem was the cleanliness of the shower.. i had to personally wash the shower in order to feel comfortable in taking a shower. Other than that all was good.
The smells of the hotel were terrible!
Everything was great except for the Rude unhelpful lady that checked is in. She acted like we were bothering her by needing to check in. Besides the rudeness the room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the morning breakfast.
The worse bed I have slept on. Really dated, ridiculously small, especially 2 people. I was disappointed and I didn't expect a 4 star motel. It was a bit ratty
What we liked: excellent breakfast, handle bars in shower.
What could improve: bigger sign on street to show location. Sign is not very visible. We used Google Get You Lost to find the hotel and it directed us into next door McDonalds.
When I entered the room, I almost lost consciousness.. such a terrible smell in the room that it was impossible to be there.. as if they had smoked there for a long time with the windows closed. Not a room, but a smoking room. I was staying with a child. A homeless woman was sitting at the entrance to the hotel. I liked the breakfast the most, it was wonderful. The staff is friendly. The location is good, but our windows overlooked the I-5 highway, so it was very noisy, but the room smelled so bad that it was impossible to close the window.
Room had an unpleasant odor and wasn't as clean as it could have been.
There’s no reason to stay in Yreka except you are on your way to somewhere “obscure”. It’s a small town of 7,500, but it’s still relatively a big town in the area. We were driving on our way to Reno. Initially we were planning to stay in Ashland, but found out we were arriving too early, and in trying to shorten our drive to Reno the next day, we stayed in Yreka which is 50 mins further down south. Hotel is unassuming; it looks worn down on the outside. It tries its best in a down beaten town like Yreka.
Best is that it has Raleys and Walmart a block away. Other than buying some food, we didn’t leave the hotel room. There’s nothing to do or see.
Advice: Stay a bit north in Ashland or bit south in Redding.
We were on the road on a no destination vacation and stopped for the night. The property was clean, quiet and felt very safe. But the best part was the service and friendly attitude of the staff. Would definitely would stay there again.
Lobby staff was very distracted. Perhaps they are understaffed as well.
Without doubt one of the worst experience I had with a property. I made reservation few weeks ago and when I reached there after traveling 4+ hours with kids, I was told we gave your room to someone else. Then I had to travel another 2 hours to get a room
