The Dan Carmel Hotel

The room was cllen very comfort and the staff was great, they had a problem with the water plumbing, no running water between 5 pm to 06:30 am so we couldn't take a shower or wash our face, finally they fixed the problem but it was too late for us.

From the front desk, staff to the waiters to the poolside attendance everyone is attentive, friendly, and inviting
The grounds are comfortable and inviting as is the pool area and the front lobby is a comfortable meeting place for the large group that we were for this event

Check in was easy and very pleasant. Staff was very accommodating. Pool area very nice. Breakfast selection was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Michael

Very good breakfest

This is supposed to be a luxury property, so I am disappointed. In all, I regret paying extra to stay here vs Dan Panorama or other cheaper properties. With some exceptions the staff was unnecessarily rude. These are tough times for everyone but obviously if you take a vacation the staff maybe could be a bit nicer maybe? There was no nespresso or similar machine in the room, just a water boiler. The facilities are fine, but it’s not a fun place to stay at, just a place to sleep. Basic things were broken like the water bar in the spa and the pool and the toaster at breakfast,
The room was nice and had a nice view of the sea and a big bathroom.
The breakfast was big and diverse, so that was nice.

I've stayed at the Dan Carmel many times over many years. The hotel is in a fantastic location in the most beautiful spot in the city, with panoramic views of the Haifa harbor and bay. The pool is gorgeous. The breakfast buffet is delicious. The property itself is a little tired and could do with a renovation, but it's very clean and luxuriously comfortable.

Renovated, high class, friendly crew, excellent food

Food was good in breakfast and at the business lounge. The view on 10th floor lounge is spectacular.

Good hotel

This is not a 5 star property, not even close. Hotel condition is very bad, the property is in bad need of a renovation. Service is curtly at best. Breakfast is the worst hotel buffet we have ever had. Gym is smaller than a hotel room with little equipment. Location is the only positive, albeit far from all restaurants. Suggest staying somewhere else.

Lovely property in good condition. Front desk staff should be more forthcoming in answers. Specifically I asked about a late check-out that the clerk approved but the clerk did not note that I would be charged an additional 800 shekels. Breakfast buffet is substantial but of uneven quality. The quality is more important than quantity.

Rude rude front desk. Ac didn’t work properly in July heat, management couldn’t care less . Still waiting for managers call back

The hotel is over 50 years old so unsurprisingly there are areas of the hotel which look tired,particularly the carpets

It was great stay

Front staff were very helpful in every aspect. A true 5 star hotel. Would recommend to anyone. Being diabetic, finally someone had sugar free desserts that were not just fruit. A very pleasurabe stay.

Terrible experience.
Old and dusty hotel. Overcharge for parking and poor quality breakfast. Not friendly staff and service.
If you in Haifa choose a different place to stay.
Try to address all of this to managers - no any results or apologies.

Good place.great location, high level room and overall feeling. Great ocean view. Excellent and friendly service.
I thought the gym was under par for a hotel of this status.
