Atmospheric cheap hotel with friendly staff, fabulous beds, and mysterious hot water in the tiny bathrooms
Pros:

Location is perfect, just a short block from the Parque Central.

Rooms are spacious, with large comfortable beds with warm blankets, good pillows, and decent linens. It’s also very quiet. I slept soundly for over 14 hours my first night here.

There is a small lounge area along the hallway which has a microwave, a water dispenser with hot and cold purified water, and some free coffee making supplies.

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I liked the aesthetic of the hotel: it’s inside a historic house, with original windows and shutters, high ceilings, and various colonial-esque items scattered around. It’s a little gloomy, but not to the point of being annoying.

Cons:

The bathroom is so tiny it’s hard to get into it. I appreciated having a private bathroom, but not as much as I’d thought I would. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water in the shower. It did get warmer than freezing, but if you stay here, get the desk person to show you how to use the shower when you arrive.

Pros:

The staff, including the front desk folks, were very helpful. The housekeeping showed us how to turn on the shower for hot water. Once we understood how to set the shower for hot water, the stay was very pleasant :) . Would be nice to have more towels.

Pros:

Todo muy bien, muy céntrico, la gente muy amable.

Cons:

Creo que podrían tener un mejor cuidado de las plantas, ya que todas están muriéndose y súper secas sin regar. Las plantas se ven preciosas en cualquier parte, pero da mucha tristeza que las tengan tan descuidada en este lugar.
