Loyalty Inn Maryville

There was no one there when I arrived, the place was dirty and looked abandoned, so I didn’t even check in. I asked for my money back.

This is an older, well-worn hotel in dire need of cleaning and renovation. When I travel, I don't need much, just a clean bed and bath is all I'm looking for. My bed was clean and comfortable, and the place was quiet, so 2 stars for that. There was no housekeeping, so anything needed you had to ask for. The lighting in the room was dim. There was not much room on the small desk/table to work because the microwave was on it. A lamp had to be unplugged so you could plug in the microwave if you wanted to use it. There was no coffee available or a coffee maker, no ice or water, or other amenities. I did notice a single washer and dryer. Only the very basics here.

The door was open. There was no bedding on the beds. There was some kind of liquid on the dresser and night stand.

It’s a bit of a dump, but my room is clean. And that’s all I need for this trip, a clean place to sleep. And the bed is comfortable.

No toilet paper, not even the toilet paper roll holder on the wall. What appeared to be blood on the bathtub floor.

Room was clean otherwise but a few bugs in room because they’d mopped the floor and left door open to dry.

Black mold, holes and cracks in walls, tv didn't work, door lock didn't work. Great shower.

Checked in and the lobby was messy and looked falling apart , old building in very poor repair , heater did not work , got a new room and door would not unlock , floor tiles were separating and had huge gaps , wall moulding coming off , entire room very grungy looking , stayed three nights and no change of sheets or towels , no phone in room , overall a very unpleasant experience

The casing for the heat/AC was off, dirty, and barked like a dog.
There was several gaps in flooring making me walk unsteady.

Exhaust fan did not work and was in process of being taken apart.
The front wall was plywood painted orange, the curtains was nailed to wall and couldn't open them.

IT WAS SO DISGUSTING, THAT IT WAS DANGEROUS. I AM WILL BE REPORTING.

Old and outdated place could've still been acceptable if any up-keeping and basic cleaning would have be done.

Sticky floors with filthy tub, sink and faucets, fridge and microwave were disgusting and we refused placing any belongings on any surface in the room without covering with paper towels (ours, of course, as nothing is provided).

Door, light switches, curtains, windows, fridge and microwave haven't been cleaned for years, if ever.

Found broken light fixture under the sink on check-in and was forced to coexist with it for the duration of my stay. NO ONE AT THIS PLACE CARES ABOUT ANYTHING BUT COLLECTING YOUR $.

Torn bedding, paper thin towels, doors that don't shut, windows that don't open, heating that does not work, I can go on...

Several rooms around ours were occupied by long term renters who are engaging in all sort of questionable activities throughout the night. Ear plugs, your own bedding and toiletries at this place are a must. Make sure you have your shots...
