SureStay Hotel by Best Western Brunswick

No TV, they could have reached out to Me B4 I got to the Hotel

We had to switch rooms because the first rooms door wouldn’t open and the A/C unit didn’t work. The room we stayed in also didn’t have a properly working A/C unit or tv, there’s was roaches in the room, mold on the walls and in the ac unit, mysterious stains on the headboards, shower floor, the walls, furniture, bed sheets, ceiling. Overall was not clean. It was a terrible stay. Breakfast was plain bread, muffin, oatmeal, or cereal. The pool was not clean to swim in, it was light green color. The doors wouldn’t open unless you force it open by pushing. The TV’s in the whole building don’t work according to the front desk and they don’t know why. Don’t stay there if you can help it.

Pool water was pink. Room was hot, had to change room. Quality of rooms was poor. We felt uncomfortable to stay, so we left.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the facility. The breakfast was not worth having, there was a gun left in the room by the previous occupant, the pool was green, full of bugs, and unusable. The mattress was old and very squeaky and uncomfortable. The room was ONLY cleaned once during the stay, and I had to ASK for it to be cleaned. The only reason that I stayed there was that it was too late to find another hotel. I booked this hotel because of the pool access which in turn was NOT accessible.

The room smelled, the mattress was sinking in the middle and there were roaches. I was only in the room for maybe 15 minutes. But when I saw the roaches, I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a refund

This hotel is filthy and completely unacceptable. We found cockroaches in our room, and the bedding was disgusting. The comforter had blood stains on it, along with yellow rings and blue pen marks. The sheets were stained as well.

The room itself was dirty upon arrival, and the towels provided were old, worn out, and looked like they should have been replaced years ago. Overall, the property gave the impression of a complete lack of cleanliness and maintenance.

What is most shocking is that this hotel operates under the Best Western name. I cannot understand how Best Western allows its brand to be associated with an establishment in such poor condition. This falls far below the standards guests should reasonably expect from a hotel carrying this brand.

We took photos to document the condition of the room, including the cockroaches and the stained bedding.

Beyond the disappointment, this experience raised serious concerns about hygiene and guest safety. No traveler should have to stay in these conditions.

I strongly advise travelers to stay elsewhere. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
