Dirty
The building was centrally located downtown and offered me the space and parking I needed during my stay.
No complaints!
location would have been excellent for our appointment at the university
On entrance to the hotel, the smell of smoke and marijuana was overwhelming. The icy stairwells and entrance ways were almost impassable. My 4 year old son was born prematurely and suffers from restrictive airway (chronic lung) disease and there was no way he would have made the night without an ED visit and hospitalization. We were forced to leave and find an appropriate, safe and smoke free facility. Staff and later management were unphased by my son's health condition and our inability to stay there safely. Hotel staff and later on management refused to refund my stay even though we left immediately after arrival.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Photos are enhanced, Property was a bit dirty, the front entrance was very slippery. Location is sketchy, there’s a sex offender halfway house across the street and don’t go to the Sunoco. Shower was slippery.
The location to the University
The whole experience. The worst considering the price.
The room looked clean and tidy.
The whole room was smelling like a smoking area even though I requested non-smoking room. I notified the front desk rep but he stated that it might be the fabric in the room. There was no smoking 🚬 signs but the smell is un bearable especially when you have kids staying with you.
Hotrible
Bad hotel policy
I loved my two-night stay here with my partner. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, helpful and personable. We shared lovely conversations and check-in and out was smooth and fast. Breakfast was delicious, they had the usual fruit, waffles, toast, bagel, fruit, oatmeal, coffee and cereal. In addition, they also had a hot food station with hash browns, bacon and scrambled eggs. Fabulous! Our room was on the third floor, and we requested a quiet room and got it! It was super clean and well-stocked with a microwave, mini fridge, desk, tv and bathtub. Our room had a beautiful view of the city. The hotel itself is in a short walking distance from many walker friendly areas, shops, restaurants, parks and even an ice skating square! If you walk a little more, you get to an amazing place for food and vibes with sooo many options called "Salt City Market". One thing to note is that the corridor from your room to lobby, gym, or laundry is outdoors, so depending on the weather can be alarming. Like your hotel room door opens right outside to an hallway with a half wall (first floor has a gate above for safety) Other than that, this was very worth the incredibly affordable price and we had a lovely stay.
The open breezeways were a little harsh in the cold, just be prepared!
Great price and very clean facility definitely will stay there again in the future
Everything was great
Nothing. I walked into the room assigned to me and walked backwards out again. Someone had smoked pot in there.
I did not stay at this hotel.
Property where regular drug use is apparently tolerated. Hotel accused me of 'slandering' since I didn't stay there- but I did walk into two separate rooms, and both reeked of marijuana. Hence it seemed since this was in two rooms, that it is a tolerated occurrence there. This is an honest review, according to what I witnessed there.
I actually tried to talk to the manager repeatedly and they they refused to call or e-mail me back. Then, even though I indeed did not stay there, they reported me to 'booking.com' for damaging their room! I guess in order to obtain some sort of money through a fraudulent insurance claim. I would have loved to resolve the matter in private in person, but I am leaving a public review now because the business refused to resolve the matter amicably and I never spoke to anyone in management- nor has the business redacted their fraudulent 'damage' claim.
Hotel seemed to have lots of permanent residences. There were multiple loud, disturbing altercations overnight by other guests.
Never gave me back my deposit
Low price, clean room and complimentary breakfast.
Location is in a shady area. Breakfast was a bit lackluster. The facility has a lot of security measures, but did not feel totally safe.
Room and staff and a hot cup of coffee waiting for me. Ty.
Cover drywall hole on rm 315 bathroom. Didn't check the other 2 rooms booked.
Good
Location
