I personally really like the building structure and architecture. It might seem silly, but I think it’s really important to like the look of the place you’re staying and I really liked it. I really liked how each unit was and that there was a glass window like future instead of the classic concrete wall at the front. It definitely stood out. It felt very homey and cozy. I liked that the room included a living space as well as a separate area for the beds. I like the size of the fridge and that there was a microwave. While I didn’t use the TV I like that there was a TV. I like the food selection for breakfast and evening reception. It might not have been the fanciest selection and collection, but it felt very home-like and that is the most important thing for me, the ease and home like feeling. I liked the lobby space and the dining area. I loved how friendly and approachable all personnel were. I just really liked everything about my stay here. It’s definitely one of my favorite hotels. In fact, I felt so comfortable that I felt this would be a perfect place for a staycation once I move to Tampa. The whole point of my trip was to find an apartment for when I move to Tampa next month, and during my trip I realized that if I ever need to find a place to rest outside of my home, I could have a staycation at the Embassy suites, just to get away from the everyday life stresses, because I would definitely like to come back, but it would be really hard to stay here if I live in Tampa already, so I have to come back for staycation. 🤭😅 I will definitely be recommending this place to any of my friends and family members who want to come visit Tampa.
I think it’s safe to say based on my description above that there isn’t anything that I didn’t like about the property and my stay.
I liked the unique style where the view is the atrium , not the outside.
The room we stayed in had an odor of a smoking room.
Breakfast and customer service
Yall need a facelift. It looks like the early 90s in the rooms . Out dated decor
The location was perfect and the hotel was beautiful! Beds were very comfortable and the service was excellent.
All was great!
I really enjoyed the full breakfast. The omelette bar is something I always look forward to.
The beds are very uncomfortable. No padding and you can feel the coils in the mattress. We stayed near the USF because our daughter was attending an event there. Our sleep was awful because of this.
The room was spacious and the breakfast was really great (though I feel it should go later than 9:30am, but that's just me).
The interior part of the hotel was very grand feeling, with the atrium and they have a happy hour many of the days that seemed nice (we were not able to partake, but it is a great thing to have for guests).
Would stay there again!
The room was very cold [ie. 62 F], I meant to tell them at check-out that they may need to check AC in the room we stayed in.
Also, I didn't receive any notice prior to arriving that there was a $13 parking fee for each day. (I could have missed that notice, but it was a surprise at check-in)
Close to USF. Staff is friendly and helpful. MOD was kind and tried to help. The housekeeper on duty the night of April 25th was very sweet and helpful.
Our room was not very clean. Our floors were sticky and dirty. There was blood on our shower curtain. The carpets in the hallways outside the rooms were very dirty. This was our second stay here and both times had a fire alarm go off, this time at 5:30 am. Text communication is not great and the phones don’t work to connect to any of the hotel facilities, so I had to go all the way downstairs anytime I needed something. I tried to change rooms but nothing was available. Also, when you book through booking.com they cannot give you any refund!! The MOD could only give me Hilton points. Not a great stay.
Ubicación cerca de Bush garden
Bañera no muy limpia
I liked the staff, service and room
I would prefer that the location was a little more secure with a gate or wall from the neighborhood for added security.
Nothing
The shower was dirty, toilet was clogged when we checked in, water stopped working and we where woken at 5am with a fire alarm with no fire
