Kondoskali Hotel

This place is an absolute disgrace and nothing short of a scam. The photos online are completely misleading, what you see is not what you get. The room I was given looked like it hadn’t been touched in years: dirty floors, a bed that was literally falling apart, and a mattress that was so old and thin it felt like sleeping on wooden planks.
To make things worse, the bathroom was disgusting. The drain was blocked and the entire room smelled terrible. I complained and was moved to another room, but it wasn’t any better, just another version of the same nightmare.
No staff members spoke any English, making it impossible to get any kind of help or service. On top of that, the cleaning lady used chlorine everywhere, in the rooms, the stairwell, the lobby, and the smell was overpowering and nauseating. It felt more like a chemical warehouse than a hotel.
This place isn’t worth even 1 lira. I genuinely hope this hotel shuts down so no other travelers are scammed like I was. Do yourself a favor: spend a little more elsewhere and get a decent, honest place to stay. This was a terrible experience I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Sehr sehr sehr sehr dreckig. Im Zimmer stillt es nach Kanalisation. Dachterrasse sieht nicht mal annähernd so aus wie auf den Fotos. Bettbezüge dreckig, ich würde hier nicht mal kostenlos übernachten. Fotos entsprechen definitiv nicht der Realität.

Ali could not be more helpful, even going as far as giving me his personal mobile phone number in case any problems arose during my stay in Istanbul

You have to be realistic. Very good hotel and staff according and staff according to expectations. Most importantly cleaning was very good. Thank you for everything See you next time

I only stayed for 1 night and it was great. I will come back as soon as possible. The staff was very helpful. I especially thank Mehmet.

Thank you to the hotel staff. A very good hotel within walking distance of most historical places. It is a very good hotel in terms of price-performance comparison. Overall I was satisfied. I had no complaints.

Området har ikke tilgang til taxi buss tog og andre kollektiv transport. Ikke heis. Veldig trangt og mørk trapper uten lys. På 5 etasje (4 over resepsjon) var mitt rom med veldig lav takhøyde og veldig dårlig luft som elektrisk ventilasjonen var på hele tiden. Ønsket og bytte rom men fikk nei. Midt på natten avbryt reisen og reiste hjem.

I have been an avid traveler for the past 40 years and by far visiting Istanbul 10 times this was my worst hotel stay. It is filthy, with cockroaches - No taxis or even police is not seen, and makes you feel insecure.

Okay hotel, you get what you pay for, great roof top terrace and staff were friendly
