The food at all the facilities was very nice.
The young person at the front desk treated me like I was bothering her. Asked for a room with a tub. The individual did not know which rooms had tubs and which ones did not. When I asked for a manager, she indicated that they could not help me either. There was no room service, and there was no spa, which was advertised. The internet was unusable, and I was not able to access Netflix or YouTube.
My room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the staff was very friendly. And registration staff was very friendly and helpful.
I wished that I had a microwave in my room to heat up my leftovers from the restaurant.
It was very comfortable. They also have a free lake tour!
I paid for a room with a lake view but I barely could see the lake because of trees blocking view.
Great location in the park, very peaceful. Good pool area. The bed and shower were very good.
The property looked like it was in the slow process of being renovated, it could be fantastic if completed. Having been to Stone Mountain previously it felt like the whole place needs a bit of love, I believe it has new owners so hopefully help is on the way.
La comida en los restaurantes
Staff, Management, Customer Service all are a complete positive! They were so friendly and helpful with me as I was surprising my fiance with a getaway stay for the night with her girls during her bridal shower weekend. I will always have lots of love for evergreen and their staff
Really nice property with always smiling stuff. Two swimming pools. Located in a state part with many activities.
Property is well maintained except elevators with missing buttons.
Had a horrible experience here. Dirty rooms, front desk staff that doesnt knkw anything about the hotel, the lost goes on. I emailed 3 different people about issues and none have contacted me back. Very unprofessional and would never stay again
Beautiful hotel but slightly dated and needing small repairs and upkeep. No information was given at check-in just a key and told about fees, no luggage carts so we had to drag our bags to our room, no ac in the lobby and it was 100 degrees out.i had booked the romantic package but was told it was not available when I checked in/ I did receive a coupon for breakfast which was very nice. The hiking was beautiful and the trail master gave us helpful info before we went. Great location and very friendly staff.
We first were given a room on the 1st floor where I couldn't see the lake nothing but bushes . The sweet girl at the desk made sure to fix it and put us on the 5th floor for out Lakeview room. The pool and gym were wonderful , however the elevators could use some upgrades they were very slow and one got stuck and wouldn't open .
Elevators are very slow and in need of some maintenance. Buttons didn’t seem to work all the time.
Location
Location within national park
WiFi connection sucks, everything else is pretty decent
Wonderful resort Beautiful location. Staff was great. Very affordable
I have to say I was overall disappointed with the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort. It all started at check-in - staff at front desk were very unpleasant - not even a smile or welcome. We asked a few questions about the attractions - opening times/prices etc and they told us to come back to get answers. We explained we were only staying for a few days - so she just basically gave us the wrong information. Told us the light show and fireworks was 5 dollars when in fact it was 15 dollars. Told us the Sky Ride was closed yet the concierge told us it was open. Totally conflicting information. We did our own research and would definitely recommend the zip line - 40 dollars each - wear closed footwear. Our kids (teenagers loved it). We did the Sky Ride 20 dollars each round trip. We didn’t want to do anything else but there is a 2 day pass available at the front desk if you plan to do more. The Attractions in the park are worth a visit - these are next to the lawn. Lovely train ride located here and Crazy Golf - if you plan to do all these things it’s definitely worth getting the 40 dollar pass at reception. The zip line and kayaks are not included in this pass - they are provided through a private company.
The pool is nice. Bar with food was okay. Really disappointed with the BBQ options - delivered to us in trays and a carrier bag. Brisket beef was inedible. Bar staff weren’t very friendly - no smiles or making us feel welcome. In fact, I listened to one member of bar staff in the pool bar talk negatively about her colleague to another member of bar staff.
Also very disappointed to be charged an 80 dollar resort fee on my credit card after check out - so not worth it in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind paying it if the attractions area and some activities are included but they aren’t. You are expected to buy the 40 dollar pass.
Bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Parking available and lots of spaces. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return and we wouldn’t recommend to others.
