It was OK, but it looks it is going down - carpet in the restaurant has uneven spots.

Nice location. Clean room.
Pros:

Everything was clean. The room was quiet except for the alarm next door. The fire pit was lovely. The back courtyard was very nice. Parking was free and convenient.

Cons:

All of the front desk except for one person were not friendly or welcoming. They did not smile or bother themselves with being pleasant. The lady who checked me out was very friendly.

An alarm went off at 6 AM in a vacant room next to mine. (And another one down the hall) There was obviously no one to turn it off so it went on incessantly after it woke everyone up. The front desk seemed aware of and unconcerned about this common issue.

It was ok but not a “resort” as marketed
Pros:

Location, cleanliness, and things to do with Stone Mountain Park

Cons:

Property upkeep was lacking- hot tub that drains water, elevator buttons missing, scratches and dents on walls and doors.
Amenities were not available as listed- restaurants closed earlier than listed on website for all meal periods while we were there. One night the bar closed at 9:30pm while the Georgia vs. Alabama football game was on. Wasted a good revenue generator.
Night time front desk staff didn’t want to be bothered- I asked to turn the fire pits on at 8:30pm and they told me the pool area was closing soon (at 10pm).

Nur zu empfehlen, wenn man den Nationalpark besuchen möchte.

Fantastische Lage direkt im Nationalpark

Cons:

Anlage wirkte insgesamt ungepflegt. Keine vernünftigen Essensangebote (und keine Restaurants in der Nähe), kein Wasser oder Kaffee auf dem Zimmer, sehr teuer für das Gebotene.

Again, a beautiful facility but very poorly run

A beautiful facility and location

Cons:

The restaurants on the property were marginal at best. Main restaurant serves breakfast between 7-10 including Friday & weekend.
Menus at both the main and the tavern were almost exactly the same. If the Tavern was closed you could not get a cocktail at all, beer & wine only
The staff, particularly Ebony & Roberto, were doing the best they could to keep up with the packed “resort” (I use that term loosely) Never saw a manager that was available to help out the staff

The location is great! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

No hand soap in the bathroom, thin toilet paper, no clean towels at the pool, no working water fountain on the property, no water or cleaning supplies in the gym, slow restaurant with bad food, and thin walls.

Pros:

Breakfast was fine but a 32 dollar buffet with room temp foods. Restaurant service was awful downstairs, and then make dinner reservation and then find out doing taco buffet. Hot water was limited in our shower. Staff was great at front desk.

Great stay for attending the Yellow Daisy Festival! Shuttle service was so nice to use. Will be back!
Pros:

It's in a beautiful area by itself. Easy to get to. Very clean and very friendly and knowable staff in all areas including front desk, Waterside and The Connors!!! From checking in, using both onsite restaurants and Starbucks, the staff were awesome. David, the van shuttle driver, was great! It was very busy but no one seemed upset or had issues waiting. The pools were well maintained.

Cons:

It's just looking old and dated in some areas. Our room looked updated but inside bathroom door still looked a lil battered. Def the restaurants need some Old English to freshen up all the wood. Wouldn't take much. The Connors outside deck light pillars need updating. Nothing major, just cleaned up.

Stone Mountain attraction

Cons:

We went to the traven restaurant and we waited over 2 hours for food. The server was amazing but she was also the bartender we tried to go Saturday and literally walked around in a circle and no one even acknowledged our existence
