Too many things I have to complain. Very bad check-in experience because I waited for half a hour and was almost charged twice. I paid online beforehand while the receptionist required me to pay again, not believing in the bank records which I showed to him. After realizing it was a huge unprofessional mistake, the receptionist and the manager even did not give me an apology. The room is spacious but I can’t believe such an expensive hotel does not provide bottle water at all and there is no coffee machine. The towel is not clean and the fridge is empty so it is confusing why I was required to have 200 shekels deposit —- there is nothing in the room a guest can take away. By the way, the other two friends of mine were not asked to have deposit during check-in. The hotel has a wonderful location and equipment but with very AWFUL and double standard service!!!
The hotel facilities where immaculate. the room was outstanding .everything is new and all details taken into carful planning . very comfortable bed .excellent breakfast Amazing views .our only regret was that our stay was to short !! we are planning our next vacation in aria again .
Our room hasnt been renovated yet, but was a good size with great balconies with stupendous views.
Service is AMAZING! To a person, every single employee we encountered was pleasant, helpful and made the whole stay very enjoyable. They responded immediately for questions we had. They sent help within minutes to reset the safe. We have food allergies and we graciously given alternatives. The dining hall is very well run with none of the frantic feelings I've encountered in past trips to Eilat. Fresh, abundant food.
Beautiful, comfortable hotel.
Amazing place
Room was not clean and in terrible condition. Windows had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. Toilet barely flushed and the sink did not drain.
Aria is right on the ocean with most room having an ocean view. There is a boardwalk with easy access to all the fun and shopping of Eilat. The buffet breakfast was phenomenal. Were six, and several also had massages at the spa and/ or went scuba diving. A vacation well worth the price!
Told I had an upgrade. Nice start until the air conditioner kept me awake! The noise was unbearable. I had told the front desk. They sent to people to fix it. They never repaired the system. Before heading out for dinner. Stopped by the front desk and they told me that on my return the repairers will come to my room. I called the front desk and was handed over to the night manager. His response was that repair staff said it was normal. I proceeded to record the noise. The next day after attempting a few times to speak with the day manager who finally apologised because she was so busy. All I was told was thank you for telling us and apologised. I even let her listen to my recording. Have they no idea how to overwhelm a guest? Clearly they don’t need guests to return.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but I want to write a fair and honest review to help set expectations for future guests.
Pros: nice, bright building and large rooms.
Location is good, being close to the very lively marina area but not too close.
Food is very good. We had half-board and there was good variety, quality and quantity
Reception staff was friendly and helpful and quickly changed our room when asked.
Cons: apart from reception staff, staff was mostly unfriendly, even surly. There is no excuse for that and it implies a training or employee relations issue. On checking out our bell boy literally fled from the car without a word - missing out on a generous tip.
Rooms are very bare and basic. Bed is good but there was no hairdryer or door on the bathroom.
Parking is described as free and ample but there is not enough free parking to meet hotel needs.
מלון נעים, שירות נעים בקבלה, חדרים גדולים ומרווחים
very good hotel, we enjoy very much, good location, quiet, clean, excellent food
First trip to Eilat and it was lovely. Stayed in a 2 bedroom “Royal Executive Suite” at the Aria and have to say I was disappointed with the condition of room. Seemed quite a bit dated. Fixtures seems old, wood paneling was coming undone. For the price you pay (Israeli hotel rooms are expensive to start;) it didn’t feel it warranted the title “Royal Executive Suite”
It’s a 3 stars hotel at best. With a 5 star price.
The rooms are 40 years old. Every thing is old and wear. At check in, the receptionist had to mentioned 3 times that if I’ll brake something I’ll have to pay for it. The welcoming is anything but welcoming. At the evening there where a group of about 20 guys sitting in the lobby with bottles of alcohol making terrible noise drinking and literally sitting in a pool of spilled booze. At 8 am if you wake up and want to have your morning coffee on the porch, it’ll have to include loud music from the pool down stairs and about 30 cigarette butts scattered near you.
I only took breakfast and the dining room had every thing in it, but everything was in a very low class and made poorly.
Bottom line, I’m sorry to say but it’s not the place for a relaxing vacation. And it’s definitely not the place for low budget getaway. I paid just shay from 3,000 nis for 2 nights to one person.
Room maintenance is poor, the food at the pool is not tasty and also not many options to choose from. But the “highlight” was a lot of hair samples of previous guest in the shower and on the bed...
Service was not welcoming and rooms weren’t clean.
The hotel is in bad condition.
All the rugs are dirty and worn, atleast the smeel inside the loby is good. And the view for the pool and sea is amazing.
The checkin took almost 1 hour!
Our room was dirty with
