Poor stay with little comfort and very old
Pros:

My room had singles beds which were old and uncomfortable.
The TV in the room is poor and overall not a great experience which i did not slepe at all.

Didn't even show for one nighty. Couldn't cancel as booked through an agent.
Pros:

Room was OK, but overpriced compared eg with Pennyhill Park, which was a much better experience

Cons:

Staff were too busy to help and indifferent to requests
Breakfast was awful
Bar staff surly and unhelpful

Great hotel that has never let us down!
Pros:

We keep retiring here as it’s great value for money, great food and facilities, friendly staff.

Cons:

Really dated, rooms were very old. Everything that you would consider standard for a hotel was an additional cost, coffee with breakfast, robes, a shower in your room!

Overall good value for money.
Pros:

Lovely area, easy walk to the high street. Spacious comfortable rooms. Character building. We enjoyed a great massage in the spa.

Cons:

We made use of the spa who were running a special. The receptionist at the spa didn’t tell us about the special and charged us full price.

Beautiful hotel building with exceptional restaurant and breakfast staff. Stunning location. Ample parking behind a secure gate.

Cons:

The double room was very small with an even smaller double bed. The room was also boiling hot even with the air-conditioning turned to "cool", which means we needed to open the windows. This was a bad idea as there was an 18 year olds birthday party at the hotel and the kids were screaming and playing loud music in the rooms until 3am. They then started again at 7am.
We were unable to call reception to complain as there are no phones in the room. Instead we were meant to download an app to contact reception, which we did not know about our were willing to do at 3am.

Die ganze Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Da könnte man das eine oder andere etwas renovieren.
