Good facility
The staff was nice and the property in general is nice. The swimming pool and spa was great and the kids loved it
It was all good as it was a nice family stay
The choice of breakfast items was good. Very good starter at dinner. Very large clean bathroom/en suite.
Cooked breakfast barely warm, plates not hot either. Mattress a little hard, the hotel needs mattress pads. No WiFi in the room.
Spa and location
Bath room
Nice hotel.
Restricted pool times.
Dated bathrooms.
No plug sockets near bed for CPAP users.
The hotel itself is very nice, a little outdated in parts, reception staff very nice.Spa facilities very good.
The resturant service, only three staff at dinner service which resulted in a long wait to be served and a longer wait for drinks and food.
Impartial no comments
Some kind of bugs in bathroom broken safety deposit cover no cap on taps and that was even on a upgraded room but we were moved to another room - not very good experience
Nice rooms
Cnt use facilities after check out, not loads of options for breakfast
Big facility, rooms were spacious and it was quiet despite it being a large hotel we found it quite peaceful and the spa was enjoyable throughout our stay with a lovely outdoor hydro pool
The room we stayed in had some cobwebs in around the door and entrance to the bathroom, the windows in the bedroom as well as the bathroom were broken so we couldn’t open them properly, there was a lot of rust and mould around the bottles of body wash and shampoo in the bath and shower of our room too where they hadn’t been cleaned out recently.
You’d think for the cost of the stay, the basics would be within our rooms but the tv was pretty outdated so the channels didn’t work. We also didn’t like how this is a hotel and spa advertising Elemis products so you’d be excited to use them and yet our room had no hair conditioner or moisturisers within? There was a lot of chlorine in the spa which left our skin very itchy and dry but we had to go out to buy some after we showered as there was none supplied by the hotel.
The doors also slam a lot, so at 7:30am both mornings we were woken by doors slamming and screaming children running down the corridors which was a little annoying as we were there for a quiet relaxing weekend to catch up on some sleep!
There was nobody at reception when we departed so we were unable to pass our thoughts over. Was a little disheartened by the price considering we didn’t have breakfast either and things lacked during our stay
The reason why I selected this hotel was the pool & spa facilities and the suitable kids swim times.. and they did not disappoint! A wonderful large indoor pool that could actually swim laps in, overlooking mature trees in the garden & also a hydropool outside, lovely and warm. Unfortunately under 16s were not allowed i(though my 10 year old daughter feels going on 16!! 😂) but I appreciate why..2 saunas, one properly hot!
I really liked that there are free drinks in the spa entrance, but bring your own reusable cup!
Breakfast was delicious, good quality ingredients (sausages etc.) and I liked that the bedroom had a bath, not so keen on the trend of just walk in showers.
I also loved the location as it's possible to walk into town for an excellent Indian restaurant & shops.
Slippers and robes in the bedroom would be appreciated. If I had been told the room was such a long walk (hotel is large) as I would have driven the car with the bags round to the conference entrance. I did before checking out but it would have appreciated to have been advised on checking in as I have a bad back - the motivation for booking a hotel with spa!
Hotel is a lovely building with a great pool/ spa facility. Beds comfortable, rooms ok. Reception/ hotel staff are friendly
I booked the hotel for a family celebration, having viewed the menus online we decided that the menu attached was excellent for our family celebration. On arriving we were given a set menu, which was all that was available! Questioning the Market menu, I received 2 different answers, one was it was a lunchtime menu, the other response was ,it was a menu that would be implemented at a later date! There are no times/dates shown on the menu online.
I was also told that there was another menu available when you book a stay, at no point when booking had I seen another menu option,or was I advised that there was another menu.
We ordered from the available menu. The food received was very disappointing and very expensive, Absolutely not 4*. I wasn't the only person disappointed
Main hotel area was very nice. Staff were helpful. Big carpark. Good location. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was clean. Didn't use the spa so can't comment as only there for one night.
The room had no main light and the switches by the bed were not connected to anything. The only lighting in the room was from lamps which was annoying. Room was too warm and AC didn't really cool it very well. Room felt dated and could have do with a refresh. Also, why hotels don't have sockets to charge a phone near the bed in 2026 baffles me.
Good location
Uncomfortable beds and dated rooms
Breakfast was terrible
I expected a lot better
I went to the Ascot Berystede spa today and had a fantastic deep tissue massage by Tania. I walked in with a lot of back pain and this has definitely improved after my massage. Tania made sure I was comfortable throughout and kept checking that she wasn't putting on too much pressure. A lovely massage therapist and a great treatment, I would recommend it.
