Good location for what I needed
Air conditioning in room wasn’t working that well

Location
No air con so had to try to sleep with windows open. My room was a few 100 meters from the main hotel are and right on top of a busy road, traffic noise for most of the night.
Breakfast ok
No aircon in our room not working other guests rooms were working it was 34 !!!! Person behind reception but didn’t care. Had a requested a firm bed as husband suffers with his back. So soft kept rolling in the middle and with that heat we didn’t get any sleep
No water in the rooms nothing small glass and the tap !
Hotel is a joke apparently in a superior refurbished room !

Wasn’t clean enough, the welcome person at reception wasn’t very helpful ( we dealt with 3 of them, the one that did the welcome at the reception did minimal effort to smile or to make us feel welcome, the second was very helpful and smiled, and the lady in the morning was very polite and friendly).
The mattress where I slept wasn’t comfortable, too soft.
The plugs were all in one corner of the room.
The breakfast was very adapted not adequate for a 4 star hotel.
Loved the spa and outdoor grounds were spectacular
No one mentioned we had air con in our room and we only discovered it on the last morning during a heat wave stay. Might be something to mention to guests at check in and show how to use it. Also some staff weren't very considerate with us when we had an infant with us but otherwise a great stay and the spa and grounds were excellent!

Location to Ascot Racecourse
Room was very dated & old. No water in room. Service was slow. So overpriced taking into consideration Ascot was on and I expect to pay more but it offered poor value.
A fantastic villas great accommodation and setting close to everything. A must try is the Halfway House restaurant across the road another villa family gem.
