It was a good stop gap for my birthday party at my friends club near Windsor.
The stuff needs a reset they have been working there too long a noticed a few of them who have been working there since the pandemic, a bit tried too to leave and find new pastures guys and one lady.
Didn’t £140 room was disgusting
Room also air con was rubbish
Amazing location! Trees, quiet (even being quite busy and full) easy parking. Staff and cleaners brilliant. The unlimited access to the spa and pool and saunas is outstanding!
Nothing
The only good thing was the receptionist who changed our room . She was the only person friendly there
Not very clean rooms
Wifi not good
Beds and pillows very bad
Breakfast very bad
The blonde lady at the reception at the pool very moody.
Lovely spa and pool facilities
Aircon kept turning off, no light in the room.
We went for a race day, and there was a photographer to take photos which was nice, however they were unnecessary picky about letting you buy a mixture of group photos and personal ones which led to not getting any which was a shame
The warm heated outdoor pool, the grounds and hotel was clean
The breakfast was shocking! Some staff couldn’t communicate very well in English
Nice hotel, good breakfast
No fridge in room.
nothing really, very dissapointed and felt the hotel added to our stress after having to leave our home after an electrical fire
Very disappointing – not the Berystede we remembered
We used to love staying at the Berystede, which made this visit particularly disappointing.
We stayed during the June heatwave after an electrical/fire emergency made our home unsafe. Sadly, the hotel felt dated and the service was poor. Room-service steaks were tough and overcooked, while breakfast was dried out, with eggs like bullets. Despite arriving within the advertised breakfast hours, whist sitting down to a cooked breakfast we were then too dry the one waitress in the whole place that they were closing and we'd “need to be quick.” Staff were often difficult to find, including nobody available at the bar when we needed a drink.
Most concerning was being blocked in the car park for over 1½ hours when we urgently needed to return home to deal with dangerous live electrical wiring. The hotel knew our circumstances, yet finding anyone to help was incredibly difficult while we had our daughter and small dog with us in 37°C heat.
Afterwards, we were promised an invoice but had to make 22 phone calls, almost all unanswered, plus multiple emails and website messages before finally receiving it.
On a positive note, the pool, sauna and leisure facilities were lovely.
Very sad to see such a decline in a hotel we previously enjoyed. This simply wasn't the service, food or responsiveness we would expect from a four-star hotel.
The facilities around , the poosl ,gym & the garden.
The carpets in their rooms were not clean, the windows were dirty .The backyard behind the rooms was very bushy .
I liked the spa, pools and gym
No tomatoes at breakfast. Long walk to room
Very friendly and accommodating staff
Very baby friendly hotel for our 10 month old
Spa was nice and relaxing
On site parking was great
