Very small parking
Good spa and pool facilities
There was no hand soap by the sink it was either over the bath or in shower which was no where near sink - when asked for some said it wasn’t there because of sustainability which I didn’t understand little thinks like biscuits/ shower caps also not available even on request

Good and friendly staff, good food and breakfast, comfortable but dismal room. I did not use the spa, but it looked nice. Gardens also pleasant with huge trees.
The decor of the whole place is dark and depressing. Dark walls, dark floor and corridors. Accessing my room entailed a long walk down a dark corridor with lighting coming on every few meters at a time, then down stairs and more dismal corridor. Overall a depressing atmosphere.
The bar was fabulous and the staff lovely. The spa was great.
Room was basic, we booked twin basic room but bath had rust running down it.
Excellent location, well presented reception area and car park. Pleasant staff.
Small bed, no air con, bedroom needed a complete refresh. Chairs and carpet in room need a deep clean. Better fridge, bottled water needed and milk to make coffee.

Had a lovely dinner with a friend whom I haven't seen for awhile. It was a great place to meet and catch up. Started with some cocktails in the bar then had dinner in the restaurant. Staff were all friendly and the food was amazing. Will definitely come back to stay and use the spa facilities!
Excellent overnight stay at the Berystede Hotel. Family celebration lunch in the Bar, lovely food in a relaxed area. The Reception team of Matt & Fidu were very welcoming, professional & helpful. The hotel Spa is beautiful with wonderful staff. - added bonus the room had air conditioning, had a great nights sleep! Also dog friendly 🐶
I really enjoyed my stay at Macdonald Berystede. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, and I left feeling relaxed. I'd definitely come back again.
The Pool and hydrotherapy pool with jets was amazing also we could sunbathe on the loungers ;-)
The massage treatment was poor not at all like a firm sports massage that I requested, very disappointing. The pedicure was excellent

Very tired past the reception. Very odd smells along the corridors. Room service left outside rooms for too long especially as it was a very hot week. Spa is very dirty. Didn’t find any of the staff very friendly
