Beautiful old property in a lovely spot but it is on a main road so windows facing the front you can hear traffic - however apart from banning traffic it is a historic building with great character and very comfortable room with beautiful interiors including the shower room. Great spot for the theatre

The noise from adjoining rooms and corridors
This hotel was a definite step up after 9 nights staying in pubs! The location couldn’t be better, the doorman is a gem, the room was very comfortable, and there is an elevator!
The staff were incredibly attentive and polite, without being over baring. We felt incredibly welcomed throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable and our pup enjoyed the provided dog bed/blanket etc. overall a fantastic, high class stay well worth the price.
The only thing that impacted our stay was our room was far too hot and the air conditioning didn't appear to be working. It wasn't particularly hot time of year-early May- so night temp around 8/9c. We were in a rush when we arrived as had reservations to get to and so didn't mention it to staff then and but the time we got back to our room we were really tired and really didn't want to have to wait for a member of staff to come and sort it and just wanted to get to bed. Who knows if they'd have been able to do anything though.

Gorgeous room, looking over the square. Hotel staff made us feel very special for our 30th wedding anniversary. Breakfast was absolutely amazing!
Our room was above the bar, and this was a Friday night so it was a bit noisy. Had a really lovely breakfast but unfortunately a fellow hotel guest thought it was fine to watch the news on their phone without using headphones! We did ask them to stop this which they did in a very grumpy manner. Really look forward to a time when this sort of anti social behaviour is strictly prohibited in public spaces
This hotel is beautiful!!! The rooms are spacious and luxurious, the staff are lovely, and the location is excellent. Also a shout out to the gentleman at the front door who went above and beyond for us, he always had a smile and was full of tips and suggestions to make ur stay better!
No fitness centre for a hotel this big
Room was beautiful, comfortable and very well appointed. It felt like the hotel had really thought about what guests need. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was excellent too. Location was perfect and parking onsite was great.
