A nice vegan breakfast. Friendly restaurant manageress. Comfy beds. Quiet location - could hear the motorway in the distance, but not enough to interrupt a nights sleep with the windows open.
Decor and interiors of rooms abit dated and could do with a redecoration.
Sad that children are only allowed in the pool for an hour in the morning and two in the afternoon? When we had a look at the pool, adults were lying by the pool side and there was only one person swimming. Would be more family friendly if children's pool hours were for longer.
The location, the staff, the food
The hotel needed refurbishment. It looked shabby. The plumbing was tired.
The building was beautiful, so was the pool. Gym good. Bed comfortable room nice.
Small steam and changing rooms. Tea coffee etc in room poor and not very generous. Breakfast They didn't tell us we could order from a menu other choices.
Location was nice and the outdoor area in the sun was great.
Not enough staff on reception, over 10 mins waiting to check in, a que of 8 people all waiting. Room was overpriced for the facilities and seemed to be very run down.
Location
The room was in desperate need of decorating and repair. Thea breakfast was not good value for money
There is nothing I can really say good about the property..Mia was lovely from the bar, well if you can call it a bar
Staff,Location, facilities, food,The supposedly spa Over priced,Rude staff,Dirty smelly rooms,
It was a beautiful hotel
The pillows are so thin I felt like I didn’t have one
Beautiful house
Very dated inside
Good breakfast
Evening meal could have been better menue choice was good but waiter mixed up my main course preferences and onion rings and bottle of water ordered but not provided steak was OK but nothing special advertised as being 28 day matured Scottish steak had better from co-op.
Fantastic reception staff - really helpful even though they were very busy. We travelled with dogs and they kindly put us in a room close to a side exit which was very useful! Pleasant enough rooms, nice lawn / terrace for good weather. We didn't eat there or use the spa facilities so can't comment on these elements.
Lovey stay. Fantastic food. Used the fitness room Staff lovely. Ideal location for us to attend our grandson passing out parade
Nothing
Lovely hotel, great location, facilities were good. Staff very friendly and helpful, food was very nice.
Mattress uncomfortable, small bathroom and slightly awkward as he bath was tucked behind the door and the shower screen opened internally rather than externally making getting in and out of the bath difficult.
Room was very spacious but it was £200 a night so I expected it to be but I was not so impressed.
The grounds is very small for such a property.
Loved the room we stayed in. Breakfast was very good, with very attentive staff 😋.
Nothing.
