Beautiful hotel

Breakfast and Dinner service good. Food good
Double bed extremely small and very uncomfortable for a de luxe double room.
breakfast was excellent and the staff are very friendly.
Good location for where I needed to be. Old fashioned charm
Pretty poor check-in experience. Was waiting for 8 minutes before I ended up knocking in the door counter, only to find the receptionist was in the office. I’d called out several times before.
The room was OK - bathroom shaping and shower sprayed water in all directions… floor tiles loose.
Very comfortable beds, polite staff and wonderful pool facilities. The still & sparkling water taps in the corridors are a lovely touch

Bed uncomfortable, tired decor, could be cleaner, no one on reception upon arrival
Lovely old world charm with modern facilities where it matters. Modern bathroom with power shower and bath. Crossover rail blackout curtains. Crisp sheets and comfotable pillows. Still and sparkling water dispenser on room floor.
Some items on menu totally overpriced £40 just for a steak, sides extra. Curtains in room 208 shredded on the edges, could do with replacing
Staff were lovely, room was warm and comfortable
Breakfast was a little pricey at £24 but supplements for anything cooked other than full English was too steep. Latte (£4), avocado on toast (£5) etc would put me off staying there again.
Spa facilities in a separate building and no dressing gowns provided so you have to go over fully dressed and then get changed once you're there.
The price for what you get is decent. Sauna and steam room was hot, not like some other spas I’ve been to.
You can’t get cold water out of the shower comes warm or too hot and that’s not ideal after a steam or sauna
Really decent gym for a hotel! Nice breakfast, free parking.
Location a little remote for the business traveler.
Helpful staff.
Inadequate provision of power points/USB sockets in room, especially by the bed.
Amazing room upgrade. Staff lovely
