I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have never had a bad experience.
It is comfortable, reasonably priced and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful
Nothing to mention
Very pleasant
No complaints
House and grounds and Breakfast
Food prices, a bit over priced. Small choice of menue
Lovely
I loved it all
The wedding was great. Staff ok especially the Barmen, it was a shame they were on there own.
Waiting time, and 'waiting area' were not adequate, especially the time between each 'section' of the wedding. When we checked in, your receptionist was not very 'welcoming' especially informing my disabled wife she would have to use the stairs when, following a conversation with one of your representatives, there is a ramp, at the back of the building we could use!
We had Lunch; Dinner & Breakfast. Food was of good quality & well presented.
I am a Blur Badge holder, a lift would have been good.
Waitress at breakfast and lunch was wonderful, really welcoming and friendly, service was amazing, she was the major plus for our visit.
Childrens restricted access to facilities, it's fair to restrict to allow for adults only time, but the hours of restriction were prohibitive to our being able to enjoy the facilities, especially the morning session, they can't have breakfast and jump straight in a pool, they will be sick swimming on a full belly! If you didn't have breakfast at 7.30am you risked a sick child in the pool from 9-10! Needs to be better publicised as I wouldn't have booked if I had seen it in the small print....it wasn't in reviews either so highlighting this.
Probably makes a great wedding venue but not great for a couple cor a nights romantic stay over
Felt very over rated as a luxury hotel
Extra busy because of a wedding which is fine
No robes in the room foe after a bath partner ended up asking in the spa as the reception refused to provide.
Food was pk we returned dipping butter as frozen and it didn’t return any better
Spa facilities included were great and prices competitive against local Nationally named providers
Exteriors were nice
The receptionist manager was very aggressive, not nice, judgmental - honestly it ruined our weekend to have such a terrible welcoming person
Facilities
No lift.
No electric charging points available on arrival. All those that were available were filled with cars not charging. We checked with reception and they offered no assistance at all to resolve this issue. We had chosen this hotel as we knew that we would require to charge. No system in place to help - no booking system in place to facilitate the spaces being cleared for those requiring charging.
Location good
