Pretty grounds and a lovely hotel to look at generally
Good air-conditioning in the bedrooms

Staff service at evening meal was poor; they didn't seem very with-it, and service was extremely slow or non existent throughout our meal.
Ok bu the breakfast room was a bit small
No air conditioning
No lifts very few handrails made getting to room arduous and worrying. Decor very tired..Bed uncomfortable.Very uneven surfaces in front of hotel made walking risky.
Outside tables covered in Ants ,tables not washed.
Very loud music prevented hearing colleague's conversation.Party and staff had no consideration for residents.
Food limited choice Tasteless.except the black pudding was delicious.
No tomatoes at breakfast.Fruit juice insipid.
Rooms not cleaned fully ,wardrobes too high could not reach hangers.
Tea and coffee facilities basic and miniscule biscuits size of a 50p.
Hotel not up to quality standards expected.
Hotel has nice surroundings.

Nothing
The setting is so beautiful and relaxing. I like the style of the hotel and rooms.
Nothing I really enjoy staying here. This was my second visit and I’m sure I will return.
Really nice stay. Everything available made my stay comfortable. I didn't have to time to eat or drink during my stay but all worked out. AC was especially helpful during this hot period
If I have to identify an issue it would be the pillows where too hard for my comfort.
Friendly staff
The place was a bit tired looking. The pool swi. lane was full of kids and they were going in and out of sauna. Nobody suprevising. I got an afternoon tea and the waiter practically ran after me at the end to pay. I said could I pay on my way out as my card was in my room. I woke up to an invoice by my door about payment. I payed while leaving and its clear that people run away instead of paying. They should get people to pay at the start before foid if this is an issue.
On booking I mistakenly paid for 2 people but when i explained it was just me there was no adjustments to my payment. It could have covered the afternoon tea but no it wasmt alliwed, this was annoying.
My room was by some sort of fan, luckily I had ear plugs! There was also unnecessary furniture taking up space. The tv could be mounted on the wall. I was surprised in this heatwave there were no bottles of water in our rooms. I had to fill up at the gym!
Hotel staff were great.
Air-conditioning broken in room, resteraunt food bland and resteraunt staff were surly when bringing food and otherwise ignored us.
The grounds
The room to small. Tv signal kept going off and air conditioning didn't seem to work
Beautiful building inside and outside 😊
The property was tired
The restaurant food was not a patch on what it used to be
