Excellent break
Pros:

We had such a lovely stay and could not fault at all. Good room, excellent choice of breakfast and really lovely staff who were always happy to help in every way.

Convenient ! Friendly welcoming !
Pros:

We had work for the weekend in Colchester. The hotel was perfect. We got in late and the kitchen had closed but the chef was still in the building and made us some food to take back to our room!
Friendly and welcoming staff!

Only downside was the mattress was very soft and springy , and dipped in when laid on. The bed base is very soft which doesn’t help.
Otherwise no issues!!
