This was my second stay at this hotel and I would gladly stay here again.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and, being at the back of the hotel, was lovely and peaceful with a view of the beautiful garden. On checking in, and throughout my stay, Krishna was very polite and helpful.

It was a nice break and a pleasant hotel.
Pros:

Cons:

trying to charge for car parking is disappointing. We were both convinced that it was supposed to be free for guests.

Pros:

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I organised a little paint and plonk get together for some friends and we had a lovely time. A lovely old hotel with upto date facilities, Clean room and comfy bed, in an area that has outstanding beauty.

Cons:

Nothing except the rain. 😄

No longer the charming smart hotel it was.

Location is lovely, parking easy

Cons:

Bad maintenance now, has gone downhill since last stay some years ago. Room large but shabby, carpets paintwork, bathroom mould etc. Cold room with extra heater in the cupboard as it was cold, no insulation or double glazing. Grubby balcony with old litter on the floor. Hotel is unwelcoming, no atmosphere, few guests. Breakfast offering was miserable for £17.50 so we cancelled and asked for a refund. Pale uncooked bacon and sausage in tatty plastic containers, no healthy yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries etc. Would not stay again
