Personal touch - handwritten welcome note on arrival
Love the rooms and staff were great
Dog friendly with a nice outdoor area for a drink
I wasn't a fan of the breakfast or some of the waiting staff.
A rabbit Warren to get to the room and some silly parking to deal with
The reception staff were really great.
The location was perfect.
Breakfasts were very enjoyable.
I stayed in room 11, below the window seemed to be a storage area for bins. On both nights of my stay it sounded like bottles etc were being emptied into the bins and a couple of staff were chatting there - all while I was trying to sleep.
At around 6.15 am the noise of bins being filled and moved started up .. waking me up. This was extremely disappointing. I thought I would mention it to reception in the morning but there was no sign of anyone at the desk when I went down for breakfast.
The room decor attracted me to book this hotel; overall we’re happy they delivered. We arrived early & got in the car park as spaces not too plentiful! We had a vegetarian platter to share at lunch it was very tasty. There was confusion re our bed set up which I was surprised by as in my comms I had mentioned request twice! However, we were sent to the bar for complimentary drinks whilst they sorted. Happy to report great portable air con units in the room & welcome sweet treats. The annoying thing was the bathroom fan was noisy plus we couldn’t get our phones to connect to stream to TV
Beautiful Inn very friendly and helpful staff. Meal was delicious
all good
Lovely little Inn in the middle of the small town, bed was very comfy and we got an upgrade to a bigger room where a handwritten letter and some snacks were waiting. The pub downstairs was amazing, food was lovely and the staff were super friendly
Great place to stay. Would highly recommend. Loved the all thoughtful touches in the room & the little extra treats & ball for the dog. The evening meal service & ambience was all fabulous.
The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The waiting staff in the dining room were exceptional.
The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming. The staff are all very nice and helpful. Food was excellent and altogether a wonderful stay to remember
nothing
Location and facilities
Carpark tight but ok
Such a cute and charming place with delightful decor. The attention to detail is way above average, from the sweet treats waiting, to the radio playing when you arrive, and the towel hanging where you exit the shower. Everything is so well thought through
Honestly the place is worth it despite the small imperfections and I will definitely be back!
That being said, I do wish someone had warned me about the bin orchestra at 6 am (Wednesday). I would have used the earplugs that were thoughtfully left out and not kept my window open.
Just a small word of warning at check in would have been nice
Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff and nice little luxurious touches in the room.
There were no negatives to our stay!
The whole place
Dorking seemed deserted
