Staff were lovely, extremely helpful on every occasion, restaurant service, bar service, reception, all execeptional. I had some specific requests before going and they were more than happy to help.
Very friendly staff - we got in earlier than 3pm
Stayed before and booked again as we enjoyed it so much. Yes it’s a bit more pricey but so worth it. The little sweets and hand written welcome note are a lovely touch. Love the coffee machine in the room too.

Quiet room (number 6)
On entering the room “Mind the step” notice was after missing the step.
Health and safety should require the relevant tape highlighting the the step and bringing it to your attention
One side of the bed was right up against the wall. My husband had to wake me up twice to get out the bed to give him access to the loo. We were both deprived of sleep.
When entering the shower it’s very easy to (and I did) burn your naked body against the radiator which is too close
The TV was in the wrong position for the room.
This is one of our favourites and I think we have been back four times now! We like room 4 as it’s very quiet and away from the bar / restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Love the decor. Great atmosphere in the restaurant in the evening.

The room for small but so “cute” and comfortable.
I was fortunate to get a parking spot and didn’t move my car during my stay. Parking is an issue.
Beautiful room, lovely coffee and fancies, great detail of personally handwritten welcome note and drinks to celebrate our anniversary.
Overall ambience and location was good.
Breakfast was fine but portions were not always generous.It was tasty though.
Although it was cold outside the bedrooms and access corridors were not heated.We experienced the same issue when we stayed last November.
You can get a portable electric heater if you specifically ask for one.Not 4star rating in that regard.

Free parking os advertised but the car park was very small and full when I arrived.
Very comfortable stay. Quick check in by friendly staff who provided me with all the information I needed to know to enjoy a pleasant stay there. My room was second to none and breakfast was delicious.
