Its a good location and the shuttle service to the airport is important to me. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are OK. They are polite and friendly enough. The pizzas are actually very good here.
I was ten minutes too early for breakfast as I had a plane to catch. The lady did let me help myself to the buffet breakfast as it was all laid out - but she wasn't too happy that I was early. I wasn't really doing any harm.

It can take some time to get to the airport ….. waiting time for the Hoppa bus , calling at the Travelodge to pick up , stopping at the other terminal , quite a long walk from the bus stop into the North terminal . Need to allow at least half an hour , then build in check in time etc

I raised a concern regarding my recent stay. The room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard there was a wet hand towel left in the bathroom, the toilet had not been flushed, and the bin had not been emptied.
This was very unusual. I have used Holiday Inn for many years, across various cities, for both business and leisure, and I have never had cause to complain before. Although when l rung the reception this was actioned promptly
While I am not particularly concerned about the towel or the bin itself, the overall experience and level of customer service I received was very disappointing. The situation was made worse by the response from the manager, who was unprofessional and stated that I could not report him because he handles complaints.
I do not believe this reflects the standards or values that Holiday Inn would want to represent.
I would appreciate this matter being reviewed and addressed appropriately.
While I am not particularly concerned about the towel or the bin itself, the level of customer service I experienced was extremely poor. The staff member involved refused to provide his name, which is concerning in itself. I was also told that even if I made a complaint or called, I would end up speaking to the same individual, as he deals with all complaints.
I found this response very troubling and unprofessional. It made me feel that my concerns would not be taken seriously or handled fairly. This does not reflect the standards I would expect from Holiday Inn.

The isolation is really bad; you can hear the noise of doors closing from other rooms or people talking in the hallway.
