Ok, until check out. That was handled very badly by the staff. So probably wont stay again there for this reason

Property was fine, convenient

Cons:

The staff that handles the check out. I left the room a few minutes left (12:15). At 12:07 I got a call from reception telling me to check out. I told them that I need another 5-10 minutes and they said fine. Then 2 minutes later another member of staff knocked at the door asking me to leave.

I’ve told her that I just talked with the reception and asked for a few extra minutes and she started an argument telling me that is her job to make sure people leave on time and that the check out was at 12 (bare in mind it was 12:11 when this convo happened following my agreement with the guys in reception

Great family stay
Pros:

A good quality Holiday Inn. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.

Derek the breakfast waiter was helpful, friendly, and great with children. He has good humour and plenty of jokes about cheese. He also knows a lot about Harry Potter.

The gym is excellent.

Cool and comfortable
Pros:

The air conditioning was great even when it was 30 degrees plus outside

Cons:

I booked the hotel as it had a pool which my children we excited to use, but it was closed for refurbishment

very nice, definitely revisit.
Pros:

Breakfast was awesome. Environment is nice and natural especially the glass house area. Good size room, comfortable bed and bath in the room.

Two day stay
Pros:

The hotel was nice to stay at . Room was good, Location fine for transport. Wasn't noisy or overcrowded. Only let down was the food options. Very poor for allergies, chef not pleasant at breakfast. Dining staff very helpful and friendly though which made up for it. Especially Derek who took great interest in my son and they swapped magic tricks

Good location for visiting London
Pros:

Good area for getting the train into London or Harry Potter world

Cons:

We booked as it had a pool, we did ask before we came and we was told the opening times my daughter was really looking forward to the pool and on arrival we was told it’s closed until next week but wasn’t advised.

Superbly located hotel with brilliant welcoming staff.
Pros:

This hotel is PERFECTLY situated off the M1 and very easy access for the Warner Bros studios.
Very clean, light and airy the hotel also has some amazing members of staff, from the lovely and welcoming Audrey at reception to the absolutely superb Derek who to say “waits tables” would be an understatement!
At both breakfasts, we had the pleasure to watch Derek interact with families and fellow diners, setting them up for a great day regardless of where there travels were to take them….even as a 2nd generation “Monkey Hangar…from Hartlepool” he’s an absolutely top guy and a credit to your staff🤗
Will certainly be back soon!

Great location , warm and friendly staff
Pros:

We booked this hotel for it's proximity to Warner bros studio tour and it didn't disappoint. We arrived late after a long journey from the North East . We checked in around 10pm but we're greeted warmly by the lady on reception who was so friendly joking with my friends son , we were checked in quickly and all facilities explained . Sadly the pool was closed for refurbishment but this didn't detract from our stay.
Derek was fantastic at breakfast challenging my friends son to come up with a new spell for the following day . He is a great asset to your hotel fantastic with all the children . All staff were exemplary , food great would definitely recommend

Ideally located
Pros:

Great location , fantastic staff even during a heatwave . Derek was particularly great with the children during breakfast a great asset to the hotel . Location was ideal for Warner Bro's studio tour just a 15 minute taxi ride away , breakfast was the usual hotel fair but constant freshly cooked items put out . Great bar area and nice evening meals.
Sadly the spa / pool area was being refurbished so can't comment on this
