Super little stop just of motorway. Nice river side walk directly from hotel.

Pros:

Staff were warm and welcoming its in a lovely spot. The room was a nice size and clean. The only thing that was poor was the food in the dinning area.

Cons:

The food it was poor half the chips were black inside. My duck was awful the salad was okay.

Pros:

Easy to find - good parking facilities. A great location on edge of town by the river - great for linking into all the traffic-free cycle routes. Hotel is 600yds from the Lune Aqueduct. Lancaster itself is a really lovely town. A modern hotel with nice bar and restaurant. Food good. The reception I received from Kalim was very welcoming & all the staff were extremely helpful. Large room with a very comfortable bed, a good television & air-conditioning. The cleaners were exceptionally helpful. Soundproofing is excellent. Very nice teas & biscuits - refreshed daily. Bathroom good with nice products. Did not have breakfast. Good value.

Staff are amazing! Go out their way to assist you and to make you go away with a smile.

Cons:

Bit dated, mattress not comfy at all. We booked a family room with 2 double beds , didn't get one. Was offered a complimentary room way far from each other. Didn't like that at all. No minibar in the room.
Rooms are not cleaned properly, toiletteries from previous guests were still in the shower,and baby food pouch were still in our room behind the curtains when we checked in. Rooms are high in need of a refurbishment. It only has a 4 star because of the swimming pool. Changing area in the swimming pool - floor dangerously wet. No sign of wet floor. Towels not available in swimming area. Breakfast was fine, the staff work really hard, from the kitchen staff to the staff on the floor, everyone was doing their best but at 8:30 am last Monday when asked for Baguettes as the baguette basket was empty, was told that they ran out. Already at 08:30am? Shouldn't have the baguette basket out at all then. Overall it was okay, wouldn't stay there again though.
