Good breakfast selection
Bathroom too small
I ordered a queen bed and got given two single beds instead
The room was a good size and was quiet. The bed was comfortable and bathroom adequate. The breakfast was good on the first morning.
We stayed for two nights and thought it would be convenient to have evening meals in the hotel restaurant. The first evening our meals took 45 minutes to arrive. The second evening we were told there were no tables as they had two coach bookings, but we could sit at the bar, which we did but were then told the kitchen wasn't taking any orders, even for sandwiches. Breakfast the following morning was cold as the hotplates either weren't working or hadn't been turned on.
Breakfast was very good, evening meal was poor, went to a pub instead.
Bedroom was in need of some work. The plugs in bath and washbasin were broken and shower mechanism was very stiff and had to be sorted out by the manager when we arrived. Hit and miss after that. Wardrobe door wouldn’t close.

Receptionist on arrival very pleasant and helpful.
Old menu in the room for room service so couldn't get preferred choice of meal.
Staff in restaurant hold mugs with napkins, serviettes in etc by the top (where you drink from) and remove the cutlery by the fork prong end. I find this unacceptable and unhygienic.

Should not be a four star accommodation and they certainly shouldn’t be charging London prices for this level of Hotel.
Location is very good, easy to get buses into town. Very nice reception area, spacious, clean and staff very welcoming. Easy to check in and out. Bedroom was comfortable. Good breakfast with alot of choices.
En-suite bathroom very small, not easy to get in and out of the door. Hot water at the sink takes a long while to warm up and the flush on the toilet was weak, need to flush at least twice.
It would be nice to have a small bottle of water included on the tea tray and a little packet of biscuits. Just little touches like that would make it nicer, and more worth the price of the bedroom.
I had to move rooms 2 times in the first night with no tv then 1 more time the seconds wasn’t happy
